Slowly, Nikolai examined his hands. His hands were only stained with fresh blood. His blood, in fact but he wasn't actually bleeding.

He tilted his head to the side and returned a confused gaze to the sun goddess. "I'm not bleeding."

Her brows furrowed. "However, there is blood."

"My wounds have healed." Muttering, Nikolai aimed his blade towards her. "What are you performing? Are you trying to divert my attention?"

"Divert?" Her eyes widened as though he had just made a joke as she questioned. "I'm only concerned. I noticed blood, and..."

"Concerned?" With a sneer of incredulity, Nikolai questioned. "Are you serious? Why aren't you trying to kill me and assault me?"

"I don't see any reason to." She exhaled deeply and smiled before moving closer to him. But, she stopped as he took another step back.
