章 39: Asserting Dominance
The next day had arrived pretty much early,like a kid unable to resist the urge for a candy.And Arthur had managed to reach the peak of the 4th stage of the origin rank.
At least he was sure of it now,having multiple abilities was actually an amazing thing and his conclusion on this wasn't just because he would be invincible but also because his channeling is 3x faster than an awakened with a single ability.

And as always, beginning with a new day meant he would have to complete his daily quest before heading out for school.With his stamina and energy he didn't take long to complete them.

After some few minutes Arthur had arrived. Walking to class Arthur couldn't help but feel the gaze of many students who were whispering away.

"I agree but did you see the way he beat up Brad, Arthur just so so.."

And honestly the students couldn't be blamed for chattering about Arthur.His sole presence was breathtaking for most,every single step he took mesmerized many.It seemed having his charm attribute increase really imoroved the way hes viewed.
But in this world,not many liked being out shined so easily,and especially from someone who use to be a trash.
"I see you grew balls after experiencing a second awakening huh".
A tall slender boy stood in from of Arthur on his way to class,blocking his only route to class."if I recall correctly,he's Mayd a student from 3-B.A third year just like me".
"What are doing Mayd"
The voice was calm and steady but the other four who stood behind Mayd could feel the intensity behind his voice and the cold glare that was being directed towards them.
"Oh..oh seems like our star boy here knows me pretty well,I'm I that famous?".
Mayd chuckled slightly bending his head to look Arthur in the eyes whiles mocking him.By now most of the students had gathered up to see what was about to happen.
The first year students as well as the second and third were begining to exit their class to come watch what the commotion was all about.
"Oh god they're about to fuck Arthur up"
"I don't think so".
"Dude,that senior is already a prime awakened".
"So what,wasn't Brad the same...let's just.wait.and find out who's going to die".
"Die is such a strong word but yeah let's wait and find out".
"You see Arthur,some of us don't like how you've been acting,you think you're the boss,a big shot just because you had a second awakening huh"
"So what are you going to do about it?".
"Huh..what did you just say?".
The corner of Arthur's lips curved up,his head twisting to left and right almost as if he was regarding Mayd as an idiot.

A loud slapping sound reverberated across the hall way,Mayd's body being slammed onto the ground.Arthurs body slowly got up rubbing his hand with his usual nonchalant expression.
"Maybe I over did it".
"Hey hey hey,that's a second stage prime awakened"
"What the heck,the other four are also prime awakened"
The other four instantly froze up.Mayd had been knocked out cold and he wasn't showing any signs of getting up back.And he was supposed to be the leader of the group.
It was at this moment that they knew they had fucked up pretty bad.Their only mistake was that they had targeted the wrong person to bully.
Even those speactating now knew who would emerge victorious.And it was without a doubt Arthur.
"You guys aren't going anywhere...it's a dog-ear-dog world where the strong survives right".
"You think we're scared of you huh you little bastard".
Contrary to his words however his body was trembling like there was no tomorrow,going as far as even peeing on himself.This led to the spectators humiliating him.
But at this point Arthur didn't care about whether they were scared or not,he was willing to beat them up pretty good and assert some dominance.
If he didn't use these guys as a deterrent,many would still come up to try and bully him.They will never stop unless someone suffers extremely.
[Conceal activated]
Without waiting for them to make a move Arthur's figure disappeared.This immediately threw them off their game.No matter how much they tried to sense his presence they couldn't not just them but the others spectating as well.
With a swift kick the first guy who stood behind Mayd was sent crushing into the walls, slightly making them cave in.With this he cancelled his skill making his presence known so he could draw them to him.
His body weaves through their relentless attacks seemingly untouched.His movement a blur as he solidly lands a fist to the one who stood at far behind.
"Best fight scene I've seen since I came to this academy".
"It's like each attack makes them lose consciousness,what level of strength is possibly able to make prime awakened pass out with single attacks".
A boy who unlike the others wasn't cheering rather analysing how Arthur fought,his curly hair moving about in the air due to Arthur's speed since he stood close to where the battle was on going,his black lense complimenting his looks perfectly
Despite being outnumbered Arthur was still able to overpower them,eventually defeating the four who stood by Mayd without any of them being able to use their abilities.
"Let this be a warning to anyone who tries to stand in my way,I'm not a hypocrite as to bully others but don't stand in my way".
His words boomed like a thunder,ready to strike anyone who dares to defy him.Others knew how Arthur had suffered at the hands of these so called bullies hence they understood his reasoning for not wanting to turn into one himself.
"This guy,his movement and everything is flawless like one who's been through alot of battles"He slightly tapped his lense up to make it stable.
Even when everyone seemed to be living the scene he still stood there,a faint smile plastered on his face.
"I-I have found the one I must follow".
