章 50: Pyo Kang's Return
"He returned with his brother dead in his arms huh? And he's estimated to be in the Transcendence Realm? He must be a lunatic if he thinks he'll be accepted back into the clan just because of that."
A cold feminine voice spoke from atop a throne in the clan Pyo Kang had visited, the woman's velvet red dress and long orange hair stretched down the throne she sat upon and touched the floor.
"That is correct Mistress." The lavishly dressed woman replied with a bow, "If you wish to see him, he is currently burying the deceased Pyo Yong in the clan graveyard."
Crack!
"That brat dares do something within this clan without my permission? Take me to him right away, it's best I teach him a lesson while he's still young." The woman dressed in velvet red said as she stood up, grabbing a crimson stained spear from behind the throne in the process.

With each strike of his shovel into the ground sweat dripped off Pyo Kang's face. He hadn't been digging for long, but a six-foot hole had already been dug.
"Pyo Kang! Get the hell up here now!"
The voice Pyo Kang had been hoping to hear since he arrived here had finally called for him, in an instant he leaped out of the hole and landed in front of the woman dressed in a velvet red dress.
"Mother." He replied in a cold tone with the agony he held onto still boiling in his heart.
"You arrogant brat, didn't I tell you to never return?" Pyo Kang's mother replied as she rubbed her spear along Pyo Kang's chin.
Pyo Kang grabbed his mother's spear as he spoke, "I've come only to bury my brother, once I'm done, I won't be returning."
Pyo Kang's mother, one of the Four Great Demons of the Demonic Cult, Mun Ah-Hyun. Considered to be the second strongest of the Four Great Demons, wasn't a person who gave mercy to those who disobeyed her, even if it was family.
"You're going to leave right now, and your brother's body will be burned. Now leave if you want to live." Mun Ah-Hyun said, attempting to pull her spear back from Pyo Kang's hands.
But the spear did not budge. As if it was glued to Pyo Kang's hand, the spear didn't move a single inch despite how much Mun Ah-Hyun pulled.
"Mother, I said I'm burying brother, then leaving. And not even you will stop me."
A fierce aura enveloped Pyo Kang as he clenched his mother's spear with all his might. As Mun Ah-Hyun and Pyo Kang continued to squabble over who would hold the spear, the creaking of metal began to fill the area surrounding them.
The location on the spear Pyo Kang had been holding slowly began to turn bright red from the energy he was emitting, and the once straight metal pole that made up the spear began to bend backwards as Pyo Kang overpowered his mother.
With a thump Mun Ah-Hyun fell to the ground and let go of her spear, her eyes began to shake as she looked up at the son she had once exiled from her clan.
"I'm burying brother then leaving, whether you like it or not." Pyo Kang said once more, tossing his mother's bent spear to the side and turning around.
"Y-you... It's only been two years... How, how did you get so strong?!" Mun Ah-Hyun cried out from the ground.
Pyo Kang didn't spare the time of day to the mother he resented, he merely bent over and picked up his fallen brother and began lowering him into the grave he had dug.
"Answer me you brat! How did you become so strong in two years!"
With a gaze so ferocious it could kill an animal with one gaze, Pyo Kang stared down into his mother's eyes. The only emotion he now felt toward her was anger, anger at what she had caused, anger at all she had hurt.
"You want to know how I got so strong?" Pyo Kang spoke out in an icy cold tone.
"Yes! Tell me son!"
"Then watch me from hell, maybe you'll see from there."
Not even a second later Pyo Kang vanished from the spot he stood and appeared behind his mother, his sword now drawn and dripping with blood.
"W-w... hy... S-son?" Mun Ah-Hyun asked as her body split open vertically exposing her insides for everyone to see.
"Because you caused our suffering, and because you caused his death."
Flicking his sword to clear the blood off it, Pyo Kang walked past his mother's dead body and returned to the hole in which his brother laid.
Pyo Kang then grabbed the shovel beside the grave and tossed dirt over his dead brother's body one shovel full at a time.
The funeral held for his brother was anything but peaceful however, as murmurs slowly gathered behind him with each shovel of dirt he tossed onto Pyo Yong's body.
After Pyo Kang had filled the hole in which his brother laid, he took one of the two swords that were sheathed in his belt. It was the sword his brother had used during the last moments of his life, and it would be this sword that marked where his brother lay.
Pyo Kang jammed the sword into the dirt, leaving the hilt of the sword above ground. But this movement silenced the murmurs behind him, but he paid no mind to the murmurs, now that his brother had been buried, he wanted nothing more but to leave and rejoin his master, Ryu Il.
However, just as Pyo Kang began walking toward the gates of the clan, one voice spoke clearly through the murmurs.
"Master Mun Kang, where are you going?"
Mun Kang, he had not heard someone address him by such a name in two years. Mun Kang and Mun Yong were the original names of Pyo Kang and Pyo Yong, they only adapted the name 'Pyo' after they had been kicked out of the clan.
It was his mother that decided to change their names to Pyo Kang and Pyo Yong, and he hated her for it. But now the name symbolized what he wanted to be, not who his mother thought he would be.
With a slow turn Pyo Kang turned to the crowd of clan members that had gathered behind him, uttering only one sentence to them before vanishing from sight.
"I am not Mun Kang, and my brother is not Mun Yong. And we are not your masters, find someone else to lead you."
