章 185: Who died?

Mikael turns around right in time to see Dennis staring down at a hole in his own left side, below the breastbone. 

The wrath bloomed in the other party's face and then he saw a sudden flash of a blade in Dennis's hand that was empty just seconds ago.

"WHAT THE HELL is going on?"

James shouts into his two-way radio, dragging Mikael behind one of their cars for cover.

"Who fired that shot? Daniel, that would better not be any of your boys!"

The radio crackles, and then it's Daniel, breathless, panicky. "It wasn't us, I swear! Not with our own men moving around that bus!"

"Well, who was it, then?"

Santina looks up in time to see Mikael tipping backward into the mud and Dennis falling upon him in a fit of rage.

"Mikael!" Santina shouts, and tries to get back on his feet, but more shots are fired, and James drags him back down to safety.
