Mikael took Santina's arm and pulled her on the side only to ask her that question. He made sure to put a safe distance between them and the officer lest the other party tried to eavesdrop with their conversation

Santina, on the other hand, did not answer Mikael right away. Instead, she looked at the officer first to double-check if the other party was indeed listening to their conversation.

Only when she saw that the office was still busy fumbling with the keys and had his sole attention at finding the right key did she whispered back to Mikael to answer his question.
