The two left the hotel and headed to a nearby gun store. Whenever they saw humans he would fire down a laser beam that would disintegrate nearby zombies and pick up their loot. This was to get exp and gels. This only happened a few times before they got to the store and started looting. Most of it was empty but they managed to find a good amount of bullets.
Metal was pretty easy to find, mostly from cars that were mostly intact. To fit in his inventory he had to rip them in fourths but that wasn't much issue for him to execute. When they had enough materials they headed back. Over the next few days Jake got a few more achievements for building and launching the satellites, only ever really interacting with Taff and telling her the plan. Jake didn't want to say goodbye or get attached, so as soon as the satellites were in position he launched the empowered soundwaves.

The earth began to rumble as a 200 foot tall zombie rose from the ground. It was extremely fat with bubbling sores all over its body and some kind of ooze leaking from every pore in its body.
