Chapter 52 – The Chase

"Oh goodness! What have I gotten myself into!"

Jhin felt a chill crawling down his spine as he frantically run towards the tunnel. While he run, he commanded the four ink soldiers to stall the enemies, if possible, kill them.

He knew that fighting five Tier 2 Combatants at once would be akin to suicide! He only had a single Tier 2 on his side. Thus, the best course of action for him was to escape while letting the sole Tier 2 ink soldier shot the enemies.

As he escapes, he couldn't help but regret his decision of attacking the rat phantom. He didn't expect that once it broke, the enemies inside would lose their minds, and target him.

Despite being separated by almost a hundred meters in distance, Jhin knew that it'll only take a couple of breaths for these Tier 2 experts to reach him.

"Die!"

Jhin heard angry shouts behind, causing him to speed up in panic! He could feel a violent surge of mana behind him.
