'Why was he telling me?' I asked myself again. I did not react to what he said. I kept pretending to be asleep. Besides, I did not know how to react to this new information.

For some reason the dream I had some night ago flash in my head. 'Will the day really comes when Ray's ex accused me of been the reason Ray was not a good father,' I asked myself. I shake my head mentally.

'But why did he lie to me?' I never asked him not to be a part of his daughter's life. He was the one that promises not to meet his ex but now he spent his whole time, including out date with her. 'What was I supposed to think?' This is only the beginning and he is already lying to me.

'So am I going to become second to his daughter and ex-girlfriend?' Note I don't care if he gets close to his daughter. After all, his relationship with his daughter is different from our relationship, but the same can't be said of his ex.
