I could not believe that ex of his had the guts to drug him. I don't know what would have become of Ray and Bella's relationship if she did not stop and listen to him.

Unlike Elizabeth who would not even listen, let alone find out the truth..

"What is it?" Elizabeth asked in an indifferent voice. I have half expected her to ignore me and walk away but her even giving me the chance to speak was already a blessing.

"Are you still mad at me?" I asked looking at her.

"what do you think?" she replied.

"Let's go somewhere, we can talk without distraction," I said. Elizabeth nodded her head and I led the way into my room.

Elizabeth frown her brows but she walked inside. 

"I am sorry," I decided to apologize once we were inside. It was best to apologize than explain anything.
