POWER UNLEASHED 4
Inside the old castle store room, the eight girls stood inside, holding mops, buckets, brooms,dustbins and dust pans. They were looking at the store room, and the size.
The girls dropped the cleaning equipments and placed their hands on their head.
"We're doomed",Blessing cried.
"Let's begin with the work. After this, we'll descend on those witches",Christiana said, carrying a broom.
The girls picked their own broom and began to work.
Three hours later, the girls had cleaned a quarter of the store room.
They sat down to rest for awhile, before they continue.
"I can't take this anymore!! ",Adeola shouted and threw the broom away.
"I'll kill those brats.
They laid such a false accusation on our head,.. and they think they can escape? ",she said,rising up from where she sat.
"Those two ants will have to pay for the accusations they laid on us.
They must pay",Ife said angrily.
Treasure then said, throwing the mop with her away, "What is in my mind at the moment, is how we're going to finish this work before this evening?
I'm starving ".
She wrapped her arms around her stomach.
Gracious and the others sighed, as they placed their hand on their stomach too.
While they were busy thinking about how to get the work done, Blessing saw a big shelf,filled with different artifacts and books.
Mesmerized by this, she stood up and walked up to the shelf.
"WAW!!!
Ancient artifacts",she said, as she took a silver skull from the shelf.
The others saw this, and stood up to check it out.
There were so many amazing artifacts on the shelf, that the girls decided to check out it.
One was checking the books, another was checking the artifacts. Each one was busy with one thing or the other.
As they were busy checking the shelf, Blessing saw a crystal that was golden in colour.
Curious and tempted to touch it, she said, placing her hand on it, "Shining crystal. This will match my... "
Before she could complete her statement, the shelf suddenly entered inside the wall with the girls screaming.
The wall closed behind them.
"Oops! ",Blessing said.
Everywhere was dark.
"Blessing what did you do? ",Gracious asked.
"I'm sorry!, it was my curiosity that caused it.
Don't worry I'll fix this",Blessing said.
With her hand still on the golden crystal, Blessing turned the crystal to her side.
All of a sudden, there was light every where.
The girls were stunned to see this.
They looked and saw a staircase, leading to the bottom of the castle.
"Wow!!
A secret passage.
Let's see where it leads to",Blessing said curiously.
"What?!, No way
Who knows what's down there. I've already messed my dress up because of cleaning the store, so I won't mess it any further ",Adeola said.
Blessing scoffed and said, walking down the step, "I bet there are treasures down there. Men I'll be rich".
Quickly she rushed down.
The others looked at themselves.
Then Ganiyat said, "Let's follow her before she does something silly.
You know she's crazy when it comes to things adventurous".
"Ganiyat is right.
What if she touches something else and traps us here? ",Abigail panicked.
Without hesitating, they ran down the steps to catch up with Blessing.
At the bottom of the step, there was a statue of an Elf,holding a crystal in its hands.
"Just like the lost treasure in the forbidden island.
The statue stands as the gate way to the hidden treasure.
It's like I'm in a movie",she shrieked excitedly.
She was about to look for a way to make the Elf move, when the others came fast to meet her.
Blessing turned back and saw them panting.
Treasure saw that Blessing was smiling at them. Then she frowned at her and asked, "What happened now B?
Trapped or what?"
"Nope",she said, facing the statue.
Ife looked at the statue in front of them and asked, "Is this a dead end?
Does that mean we're trapped? ".
"Like I said, Nope.
In fact..,the fun is just starting ",Blessing replied.
Adeola was about to sit down on the step, when she looked at the statue.
She gasped and rushed towards it.
"It's just like the lost treasure in the forbidden island. This is incredible! ",she exclaimed.
"So you've watched that movie. Remember when Anabel fell into Richards' arm?"
"Yes!!
He said... ",Adeola tried to remember.
Then she remembered.
"I'll forever hold you in my arms. WAW!!!!
That guy is so cute",the both of them screamed.
"Em.. Em",Gracious cleared her throat.Getting both Blessing and Adeola's attention,"If you two are done with your drama, can you please... tell us how to move the statue".
"Besides, you two can't keep us waiting all day.
We're starving like crazy here. And if I don't get anything to eat.., I promise I'll you two for lunch ",Christiana threatened.
Quickly, Blessing and Adeola faced the statue.
They looked at the statue, and Blessing placed her hand on the chest.
As soon as she placed her hand, the eyes of the statue glowed. And immediately, the statue moved to their left.
Stunned by this, the girls gasped.
Blessing and Adeola cheered,because the statue moved just like in the movie.
"Treasure chest!!, here I come",Blessing shouted and passed through the door.
Quickly the others followed.
It didn't take long for the girls to find themselves in a mighty hall.
"WAW! ",Treasure was marvelled.
"What is this place? ",Ife asked rhetorically, while looking round.
The girls moved inside the hall.
There were Eight statues of eight people,standing tough like warriors.
When Gracious saw this, she gasped in amazement and ran towards the first statue, close to a gargoyle.
"No way!! ",she looks on amazement.
"What? ",Treasure asked, walking up to her.
She points at the statue and said, "This people aren't ordinary at all.
I've read about them.
They are the Alphas".
"Alphas?",the girl asked, looking at all the statues.
"Yes the Alphas.
Protectors of the Golden castle Five hundred years ago",Gracious completed.
"So... Who's the omega? ",Christiana asked, looking at one of the statue that was a female.
"There is no omega silly.
They were called the Alphas.
They were the protectors of the Golden castle.
They possess so many great abilities, such as fire, water, air, earth, lightening, energy, light and ice.
WAW!!, I can't believe we're in their secret hideout ",Gracious shrieked excitedly.
"Like seriously?!
Real life heroes?!
WAW!!!
I wish I was present at that time",Blessing dreamt happily.
They kept on looking round the hall, when Abigail noticed something, glowing in ife's pocket.
"Em... Ife?, what's glowing in your pocket? ".
"Glowing? ",Ife asked.
She checked her pocket and saw it glowing.
She put her hand inside and brought out the crystal.
It was glowing in green colour.
"It's glowing? ",Christiana asked, as they all looked at it.
"This is amazing ",Ife said, admiring it.
"I think you're not the only one. Look",Adeola said, showing her own, which was glowing Orange.
on seeing this, the others brought theirs out.
All the crystals were glowing.
"Amazing!! ",Blessing exclaimed.
"This is beautiful!! ",Treasure exclaimed too.
"What do you think it mean?",Ife asked.
All of a sudden, the crystals began to float in the air.
The crystals assembled together and began to spend fast.
Shocked by this, the girls moved back a little.
"Em Gracious?
Don't mind me asking, but what do you think the crystals are doing? ",Treasure asked, as they all looked at it worriedly.
As the crystals kept on spinning together in speed, it began to show lightening,fire and different elements.
Gracious looked and said to Treasure, "According to my calculations, I think..... "
ZAP!!!
"ARRGH!!! ",gracious screamed.
"Gracious?!!!",Treasure screamed.
"Oh my goodness!! ",the girls screamed. A purple lightening bolt from the crystal was zapping her.
Treasure decided to save her, when a strange white energy force from The crystal, pushed her against the wall ,continuously.
Treasure screamed.
"O M G!! "Adeola also screamed. But before she could do any thing, an orange light zapped her.Causing the earth to fall on her.
A Green light came out In form of wind, and lifted Ife up. Spinning her round like a ball, whole she screamed for help.
"Oh no guys!! ",Blessing panicked.
A blue light came out in form of water,and covered Christiana up. She was struggling to breathe.
Abigail and Ganiyat wanted to pull her up, when a Red-fire blasted Ganiyat,as if it was burning her. This was becoming scary.
Abigail looked at Blessing,who also looked at her.
She saw a yellow blazing light, heading towards Blessing, and she screamed and ran towards her.
"Blessing No!! "
But before she could do anything, A pink light zapped her, spins her up in the air and freezes her.
Blessing gasped in fear,but soon met her doom, when the yellow blazing light covered her up.
Meanwhile, Madam Elizabeth was in a meeting, with some authorities that came from the Golden city education office.
They came to confront her about the path she had chosen and the consequences.
"Listen here Elizabeth, we will not allow history to repeat itself.
This will be your lady warning now. Shut this castle down"
"And what if I don't?
Will you kill me or what? ",she asked.Crossing her legs with style.
One of the authorities then said to her, in an angry tone of voice, "Prevention is better than cure Elizabeth.
Everyone knows what happened a hundred years ago.
If you don't want history to repeat itself, then I'll advice you to shut down the castle now".
"Since when did you start to care about the castle and it's histories?",she asked, glancing at the authorities with so much pride.
"Listen to me. Madam Elizabeth doesn't care about the history of the Golden castle,.. because it's nothing but a fallacy.
And yes.. If this your way of forcing me to surrender the castle to you people, then I'll say you're wasting your time".
"Elizabeth!! ",the authorities called in anger, and rose up from their seats.
"The president of the Golden city education will hear this",one of them threatened.
"Oh Pls tell her.
I almost forgot.
The Golden castle's orientation is in three days time from now. So tell her that she's our special guest of honour.
You may leave "
Furious by her actions, the authorities marched out of the office without looking back.
Madam Elizabeth chuckled, because that's what she wanted all along.
To show all of them, that with her around, history will never repeat itself again.
Sleeping peacefully on the bed, with the blankets all over her.
The alarm suddenly rings, disturbing the Peace of Sleeping Beauty.
The alarm continued to ring continuously, until someone silenced it.
It was Aunty Onome.
"Didn't you hear the alarm ringing?
Cone on get up",Aunty Onome shouted and pushed the person on the bed to the floor.
"Ouch!! ",the person screamed.
Aunty Onome dragged the blanket from the person, who turned out to be Blessing.
"Get up Blessing!
You've been sleeping like a log throughout yesterday afternoon.
Did you take any drug? ",she asked folding the blanket.
"Yesterday afternoon?",Blessing asked,cleaning her eyes.
Then she paused and opened her eyes wide.
"Yesterday afternoon?! ",she shouted and looked at Aunty Onome.
"Don't look at me.
When I came to the room yesterday afternoon, I saw you sleeping on the bed like a log.
Just get ready So that we can go to the cafeteria. I'm hungry.
My roomies have gone to eat since, but I'm still here because of you ",Aunty Onome said, putting on her shoe.
Blessing was still astonished.
She looked round the room and wondered how she got to the room.
She recurred what had happened at the store room, and how they ended up in the Alphas hideout.
She remembered the strange thing that happened next to them as their crystals joined together.
"What happened to us yesterday? ",she wondered.
Slowly, she stood up and went into the bathroom to wash herself.
Thirty minutes later, screaming could be heard outside the hostel.
Aunty Onome rushed to check through the window.
She opened the curtains wide, and saw a huge blaze of fire, coming from the other side of the girls hostel.
"Oh my goodness!!
Fire!! ",she screamed.
On hearing fire, Blessing rushed out of the bathroom,already dressed.
"Where's the fire? ",she asked, rushing to the window.
As soon as she hot close, light filled the room, blinding their eyes immediately
"YAHHH!!! ",Aunty Onome screamed.
"I'm blind, I'm blind!! ".
She couldn't see at all.
Blessing tried to reach for the curtains.
She suddenly realized that she could see in the flashy lights.
"What?
How's this possible? ",she asked herself in her mind.
Seeing that her Aunty was still screaming, she quickly got hold of the curtains, and was about to close it. But she was stunned by who she saw, Ganiyat.
She was running outside the castle with other students, while the fire followed them from behind.
Anywhere she moved, the fire followed.
Shocked, Blessing quickly closed the curtains, which caused the light in the room to seize. "What was that?! ",Aunty Onome shouted in fear. Blessing didn't wait to answer her. Instead,
,she ran out of the room,so as to find what was happening .
Treasure woke up with a split headache.
She looked round and noticed that she was in her friends room, where she's staying.
"How did I get here? ",she wondered.
She looked round and saw the time.
"Seven in the morning?
How's it morning?
Oh no I'm late for my early morning exercise at the field".
As soon as she said that, Treasure disappeared.
She suddenly appeared outside on the school field.
She was shocked.
"What just happened? ",she became dazed.
She began to hear people screaming, and turned to look.
She was shocked by what she saw.
There was a big and mighty wind, flinging students up and down.
She saw Ife in their midst. Any movement she made,
caused the wind to fling them up again.
Suddenly there was an earthquake.
The whole place was shaking.
Vehicles moving on the road, began to crash into trees and other vehicles.
Treasure couldn't believe her eyes.
"What's going on? ",she was confused.
Just as she was talking, the whole ground became frozen, then the earthquake shooked the ground.
Treasure tried to make a run for it, when a strange force lifted she and some students up and finger them into the bushes.
Blessing finally came out from the hostel.
But she was running for her dear life. Some students ran behind her, screaming because of the flood coming from the hostel.
Christiana was behind them.
As soon as Blessing stepped out, the sunlight began to shine on everyone, causing them to go blind.
"What is going on here? ",She screamed.
Suddenly, the thunder claps, as lightening bolts began to appear in the castle.
The students turned to their left, and saw a figure, running fast, with the lightening all over the figure.
The figure passed them, and struck that part. Causing the students to scream.
The figure soon stopped,because of the Wind that lifted the figure up.
The figure turned out to be Gracious.
As Abigail was running, she was freezing the place up.
So much chaos in the Golden castle was taking place.
