Yuuki halted her steps before continuing to walk, Although her curiosity was piqued, Yuuki's pride prevented her from asking more thus, leaving her with unanswered questions.
The Luminous state is governed by the Luminous church which is an independent state within the Jura Kingdom
The Luminous state is divided into 3 sections, the core section, inner section, and outer section
Each section is governed by Ministers from the Luminous church, Ministers are priests or priestesses which makes them different from Triny who is a great priestess
Yuuki and Aetheris were exploring Maple City which is one of the many cities In the outer section, the Scarlet Ruby Inn is located within the Maple City
"At least the number of stares and people who try to approach us have decreased"
Aetheris was currently suppressing his horns because he got stares, which made him feel uncomfortable; some men and women looked at him with predatory eyes.
"Yuuki, where are we going? Ruby and I were still going to bond even more if not for your interruption, " Aetheris sighed as he continued to pat Sebastian; the two of them were so close that Aetheris began to take him everywhere he went.
"We are going to the central pavilion where they sell different kinds of equipment, you need to broaden your horizons apparently "
*BAM!*
"Oh, sorry," Aetheris said, stumbling backward as he collided with a passerby by mistake.
"Hmm, it's all right, kid. Accidents happen," chuckled a cloaked man, walking away with a knowing glint in his eye.
'KEKEKE, judging by the Luminous insignia on his forehead, he must be the target.'
Aetheris and Yuuki continued their stroll until they came upon a small, unassuming store. The store didn't stand out, instead blending seamlessly into its surroundings, hiding in plain sight.
*KA-CHING KA-CHING KA-CHING KA-CHING *
The doorbell rang as Aetheris and Yuuki entered the store
"Ohhhh, this is not what I expected "Aetheris spoke as he entered the store
The interior of the store had a medieval and Morden hybrid design and structure, the interior was more grandeur than the plain outside design
The store was filled with books, potions, and items that looked like low-quality products, this sight made Aetheris see the store as a cover.
' There were other stores that we passed better than this one in terms of design and structure...why this store specifically?' pondered Aetheris as he felt the Mana in the store.
The outer section has poor Mana concentration as a whole, but this store was on a different level.
"Greetings, honored guests. It is our pleasure to welcome you to the esteemed Central Pavilion." Spoke an attendant with a respectful tone as she approached them, their clothing style already spoke for them so there was no unnecessary drama.
"Hmmm...When starlight whispers secrets to the shadows, and the wind carries the whispers of the ancients, we move unseen, like the silent wings of the night's dark messengers." Yuuki replied as she saw the attendant's poker face, she was using steganography due to business transaction procedures
"Ahhhh, I see I see... Young lord can I please see your Identification card" the Attendant inquired as she slightly bowed, the act of wanting to confirm the identity of the holy son might seem rude but it's a natural procedure
Aetheris retrieved his identity card from the depths of his storage ring, the soft glow of the ring's interior casting an ethereal light on his face.
With a gaze that mingled skepticism and caution, he handed the card to the Attendant, whose eyes flicked to the card with a practiced air of scrutiny
With a flourish, the Attendant produced a slender, gemstone-tipped monocle from her waistcoat pocket and fixed it over his left eye. As she activated the [Great Appraisal], the air around the ID card shimmered with a soft, azure glow.
The card's contents burst forth in a cascade of light, unfolding like a miniature tapestry, and revealing the following information...

The Attendant soon clapped her hands, and the space around them began to shift; the Attendant's hands met in a crisp clap, and the air around them seemed to fold in upon itself, like the pages of a book closing.
The walls of the pavilion dissolved into a swirling vortex of colors, and Aetheris felt the familiar tug of transdimensional displacement.
The last thing he saw was the Attendant's enigmatic smile before the world around him blurred and vanished.

"KEKEKE, the information you sold to us checks out " Spoke a man wearing a cloak as approached a hill while looking at a short boy
"Of course, I have been following that deceitful vermin for a while, but no one noticed his hidden intentions but me," spoke the boy as he proudly puffed his chest.
"Young master Vedic, you have helped us greatly in identifying that traitor, so a proper reward should be reciprocated," He replied as he looked at Vedic with a ' respectful' gaze.
"Is that boy really a spy Who betrayed the Thanatos family.. how come the Great Priestess doesn't Know??" Vedic questioned with a skeptical gaze.
"Young master Vedic, that boy stole military secrets from the Thanatos family and ran away
The Faith of the Great Priestess in Goddess Luminous is decreasing, and she is becoming a sinner; she obviously wants those secrets for herself, and not the Luminous church," the man wearing a cloak spoke with a tone filled with heavy concern and belief.
"T-t-then did you approach me because I am not compromised" Vedic replied with a stutter while he unintentionally fed the man ideas.
"Yes Yes, the reason we approached you is because your faith is still rising tremendously
We intentionally wanted to approach your master but we fear that he might be compromised too... Oh, young master Vedic, you are the hero that has saved the Luminous church, and thanks to you... tonight we shall eliminate the threat " The man spoke with a cunning glint in his eyes while praising the Luminous church
Vedic's desire to become the Main character, a savior, unintentionally made him betray the Luminous church by feeding the Thanatos family information.
