章 40: There will be monsters

A YOUNG LADY, ABOUT THREE YEARS OLDER, SEEMS IRRITATED BY THE DISTURBANCE GOING ON IN THE CAFE AS SHE SHOOTS AUBREY A NASTY GLARE.

There is silence for just a split second when Aubrey's eyes land on the fuming blonde with her phone in her hands.

"If you have issues with a customer, go and settle it some place else. Gosh, you're so loud. No manners." She says with attitude.

Aubrey slowly turns to the lady seated cross-legged on her chair. "What did you say?"

"I said be quiet, bitch!"

There are a lot of lessons Aubrey learns each week on how to deal with rude customers but she doesn't apply any of the tips this moment. Something goes off inside her and she reaches her hands out to the lady, using her weight to tip her chair until she falls the ground.

On the ground, Aubrey doesn't stop. Aubrey kneels on her stomach, trying to choke the lady.

She isn't herself. She isn't even conscious of her actions as her vision is covered with red.
