Friederichstein Degenhard, also known as Fred, was a young dragon that managed to survive on his own for centuries despite all odds. Well hidden and secluded, he actually thrived being on his own. He had a vivid imagination and collected and found objects he would name and talk to. It may seem like he was delusional from the outside, but these imaginary friends kept him sane.

Dragons are not meant to be solo, and Fred was no different. However, Fred was not always alone. His mother and father raised him and his brother and sister for several decades. They closely guarded the cave that they called home. The children very rarely even left the cave.
