As his hazy consciousness began to dissipate, Takei realized that there was light spilling out from his window.
Opening his eyes after what felt like a decade of sleep, Takei confirmed that it was now indeed morning.
He had fallen asleep as soon as his head had hit the pillow last night, due to the exhaustion of dealing with the endless crowd of students at school.
However, today would be a new day for him.
No longer would he have to deal with all of those people, due to the blessing of the weekend.
Takei slowly rose up from his bed and checked the time on the clock next to his bedside.
It was quite a bit earlier than when he would usually wake up on the weekends, but Takei decided to continue on with his slightly extended day since he didn't want to waste any of his free time as much as possible.
Takei then left his room without changing out of his pyjamas, due to it being a weekend.
Entering the living room, he instantly noticed that there was a feeling of emptiness gripping his heart.
Usually his parents would be up to some antics in the morning, but they were nowhere to be found now.
This was a result of his mother choosing to accompany his father on a business trip around the world.
Seeing the vestiges of his once populated home made Takei feel an overwhelming sense of loneliness.
Even though he was often rough with his manner of speaking with his parents, Takei did truly love them.
Not having them around anymore would obviously make Takei regret that he hadn't spent more time with them.
"Let's save these thoughts for another time..."
Takei decided to push these thoughts aside for the moment since he didn't want to start his day off with negativity.
Feeling the need to put something into his stomach, Takei entered the kitchen and mentally prepared himself to cook up a nice hearty breakfast.
When he entered the kitchen, there was something a bit off though.
Rather than there being an empty kitchen awaiting someone to put it to use, there already was someone there using the kitchen to its fullest potential.
Takei's beloved girlfriend was in the kitchen practicing her craft early in the morning.
Akari was still dressed up in her fluffy pink pyjamas and was cooking some breakfast, all the while listening to music and humming a happy tune.
Seeing her enjoy herself so much made Takei feel a sense of elation.
Without making a single sound, Takei crept up on her with nothing but good intentions.
He eventually made it his way directly behind her back, and then trapped her with his big burly arms.
"Mm, Takei. You're up early?"
Instead of being surprised, Akari accepted the hug and brightly smiled at her better half.
"I couldn't fall asleep again, so I was planning to make some breakfast until I noticed that you were already awake making it."
Looking at the contents of the pot, Takei guessed that Akari was planning to make a light soup for breakfast.
"I had a feeling that you were going to want something light and delicious this morning, so I came over here as soon as possible to make it."
Always thinking ahead, Akari showed Takei a fraction of the well of love that she had for him.
Feeling emotionally overwhelmed, Takei embraced her even harder.
"Oh, aren't you such an angel?"
He whispered into her ear as his breath tickled the nape of her neck.
Akari shivered when Takei whispered into her ear, but she didn't refuse it.
The radiant pure white glow of Akari's nape began to entrance Takei, as he slowly felt himself being pulled over to it.
With absolutely no reasoning or common sense left in his mind, Takei planted a kiss on Akari's nape.
"Mmm..."
Akari let out a seductive moan as Takei began to mark his territory on her.
After a few minutes had passed, Takei finally let go in order to breathe in some air to his lungs.
Unsurprisingly, there was now a purplish mark on the lower part of Akari's neck.
Seeing the mark made Takei proud of himself, but he instantly felt bad after he realized what could happen as a result of it.
"I'm so sorry..."
Takei's face paled as he realized that he had forced his will onto her, and that she would have to wear clothes that hid her neck for a while.
"Calm down, it's okay. If it's you, I would be fine with anything..."
Contrary to what he thought, Akari welcomed his lack of self-control.
To help assuage Takei's fears, she leaned her head into Takei's chest and resolutely stared at him in the eyes.
"Don't you ever apologize for being selfish. We're partners now, in every sense there is. So, let me endure your heavy feelings and allow me the privilege of spoiling you plenty."
Stating her will, Akari refused to let Takei feel bad about the situation anymore.
"Anyways, I just have to wear something that covers my neck for a while. Maybe a scarf or a collared shirt might be nice..."
As expected of the goddess, she immediately defused the serious situation.
Takei was extremely thankful for her benevolence, which was something he truly loved about her.
No matter how pitiful of a person he was, Takei knew that Akari would never abandon him.
With his mood finally cleared up, Takei decided to repay the favor.
He leaned forward and planted a small kiss on Akari's forehead.
Akari seemed to have perfectly understood his feelings, because she also looked overwhelmed with his heavy feelings.
As they silently stared at each other with the shame inside of their bodies slowly welling up, a pair of footsteps could be heard walking away from the scene of the crime.
"Jeez, it's too early in the morning to flirt like that."
