章 318: Impressive?

There was no more movement.

There was only a fully grown man, a ger with a sizeable baby bump, and blankets that weren't quite in use. While Xu Feng was still unconscious, Xuan Jian didn't want to leave his belly exposed to the cool air. 

First, he covered Xu Feng up partially, tucking him into the blankets, with enough room for himself. Then, he continued to rub the belly, hoping for another response, but nothing happened.

He tapped the belly with a gentle smile on his face, hoping that perhaps their children were simply sleeping soundly. 

After none of the doctors "invited" to the estate could determine the state of the children, he began telling himself this.

Even if they were to find a royal doctor, or invite Doctor Ping (the retired royal doctor), it was likely the doctors would all come to the same conclusion. The children were growing well, that would need to be good enough for now.
