It’s never a good thing to be in kill mode while stateside. It’s never happened before. I’ve had moments of intense anger, and there were times when I wanted to shoot an idiot or two for being what they are, but always my control would take the upper hand and keep me from going over the line. That gut-deep fear I’d felt when I realized Calhoun had her in his sights will probably stay with me for another week or so.
