章 387: Desperate Fools

Dr. Miles waited for hours only to show up to Aviona's funeral when everyone else was gone. As Manager Cheng and he went out the car, they noticed Martin walking away from Aviona's grave together with some securities.

"I did not expect that he was still here," Manager Cheng whispered to Dr. Miles as they started walking with the bouquet of white lilies with them. It was Aviona's favorite flower and so Dr. Miles had it specifically ordered for their visit.

Martin and Dr. Miles met halfway, and they stared at each other for a while without saying anything. They both were hurt of Aviona's death and their eyes shared the same sentiments. Martin withdrew his gaze first and directed it to the bouquet of white lilies Manager Cheng was holing in his hand, he smiled bitterly at the beautiful flowers and left.

"He acts so strangely good when God knows he must be the one who killed her!" Manager Cheng was really disgusted with Martin's face.
