Sitting on a newly made chair in my crafthouse I couldn't help but groan at the fact that this was where I spent my time now.
I could be out leveling up like crazy by simply killing things but here I was, I wasn't that sulky about it as what I was doing was important for the 100s survival.
As of now, I was sewing together the leather I had into armor.
I had already created a default armor set that the guards and hunters would be wearing.
This was a leather chest piece fitted with metal plating to important vital parts, but that wasn't all though as I had used my knowledge of [Science] and [Potion Making] and managed to extract certain properties in some rare exotic plants, fungus and trees and created a treating method.
I had dunked the armor in this liquid and channeled energy into the liquid, the treating liquid would then soak all that energy which would be further passed down into the armor.
The liquid in itself allows for anything that isn't of biological nature to have its structure reinforced and strengthened, it took a couple of tries till I managed to create this concoction though. [Plant Control] is the only reason I was able to create the damn thing in the first place, having [Potion Make] and [Plant Control] was overpowered in that prospect, add [Science] to that and you'll be able to create some wild shit now that Ibegunegan using my abilities over each other.
The results of this weirdly made armour though is good enough.

So all in all, ait an armor that focuses on defense incredibly.
I had made 13 already, my crafting speed was insane that much I realized but I'd need to make more meaning I'd have to spend even more time here.
But after that, I'd have enough time for everything else, like fix the bullet issue, rig up landmines and bombs and then the grounders before I have to focus on the mountain man.
" God....this shit is getting tiring." I mumbled with a groan before I focused back on the crafting.

It was four when a guard walked inside, I had just finished my 46th armor piece by then not counting the other 13.
" Sir! A grounder is standing by the cleared area's edge, what are your orders?" Said the guard with a clear frown on his face, probably worried.
" Don't do anything, I'll meet with him." I told him and immediately grabbed my Katanas and latched them on my waist, grabbed the quiver and bow and put it on before walking out.
I made my way out of the walls under the eyes of Octavia who stayed at a watchtower with a rifle aimed at the grounder at a distance.
I walked over to him, slowly and non-threateningly.
" I'm guessing you're the grounder that talked to one of my people?" I asked as soon as I got in range.
My arms on my side to not seem ready for any attack towards the grounder but hidden in my sleeves were daggers just in case.
The grounder in front of me stared me down with a frown, I realized at that moment that I was talking with Lincoln.
' .....it's just a coincidence Eze, nothing wrong with this at all.' I thought before disregarding any rising thoughts at the fact that the person who helped Finn try to set up a meeting with the grounders was Lincoln.
The man looked me up, my weapons, stance and then my eyes.
He seemed to be trying to intimidate me or something, and this caused me to suddenly give him a feral grin showcasing all my teeth with a tilt of my head.
He frowned further at my disregard for his threat but didn't comment, his stare stayed at my eyes for a minute more with no words said between us before finally he spoke.
" A meeting has been agreed upon, you will be required to meet my leader by the bridge in that direction..." He spoke quickly before pointing me in a direction." Do not bring any weapons." He finalized.
" When?" I asked with a raised brow.
" Morning, tomorrow." He spoke and then walked backward into the forest after looking back at my camp with a wary glint.
' Oh well, that went well.' I thought with a sigh as I made my way back to camp.
Moments later I was back inside the walls and Octavia was the first to come forward followed by Miller and other guards moments later.
"Tomorrow morning we will be having a meeting with the grounder leader, get a good night's rest prepare 10 guards and 10 hunters and ready all your weapons." I immediately told them, I saw nervous glances thrown around but they nodded and walked away with some modicum of determination.
Sighing I focused back on Octavia who smiled at me, I saw a glint of what I could see as sadness there but didn't comment.
" What?" I asked her.
" The others have woken up, wanna come see how they are?" She asked and after pausing I nodded and followed behind her.
