Nyx looked back to the werewolf who had interfered earlier. He didn't seem to have any malicious intent, but she was still wary of him. "Dwayne, was it?" She asked, reducing the strength of pheromones she was pushing away from her body. 

"Yeah. Look, as my brother caused you so many issues, I'd like to set the record straight and just tell you what to expect.

"Brother?" Nyx asked involuntarily. She didn't mean to say that out loud, but she was shocked. Dwayne was never mentioned in that brief. But it didn't matter now; whatever their circumstances were, she never did kill Dean, and there was no vengeful brother after her. 

"I know we don't look alike, but it's true," Dwayne replied with a shrug.
