章 2: Chapter 2
Nathaniel who happens to be the first baby to be born among the twins took a few seconds to open his eyes after he came out of his mother's womb and then there was a sudden pain on his tiny butt.
PAH!
'Ouch! That hurt you co*cksu*ker.' "Wa! wa! waah!"
Nathaniel cursed at the doctor that slapped his butt but all that came out of his mouth was a baby crying sound instead.
The doctor seeing this also slapped the butt cheeks of the other baby who also started crying before handing the two babies to their mother.
"Congratulations Mrs Allen the delivery was a success and you have given birth to two healthy twins baby boys."
The doctor congratulated the mother of the twins after he handed them over to her.
Nora Allen took hold of her two baby boys with motherly love and affection in her eyes as she stared at the now-sleeping babies(Well Nathaniel was pretending to be asleep.). The door to the room Nora and her babies were staying in suddenly opened and a man walked in with joy and delight visible on his face.
"Nora..."
The man called out to the woman lying on the surgical bed when he entered the room. Nora also turned to the man and smiled at him before showing him the twins in her arms.
"Henry, it's our kids aren't they cute?"
The man moved closer to Nora and their kids before hugging them and nodding his head to Nora's question.
"What do you think we should name them, Henry?"
"Let's name the elder one Nathaniel Henry Allen and the second one will be Bartholomew Henry Allen. How does that sound to you?"
"It sounds perfect, Henry."
Nora passed both Nathaniel and Bartholomew to Henry who place them in the crib that was in the room and they continue to look at their sleeping face without knowing that Nathaniel was pretending to be asleep.
'Bartholomew Henry Allen? Why does that name sound familiar? It does matter, this is a new life for me and my new family. From today onwards I am no longer Nathaniel but rather Nathaniel Henry Allen, the eldest son of Henry Allen and Nora Allen and the older twin brother of Bartholomew Henry Allen.'
Nathaniel declared his acceptance of his new identity as Nathaniel Henry Allen and his new family in this world before he finally fell asleep for real.

[Ten years later]
It's been ten years since the Allen couples gave birth to their twin boys and it was very hard for them at the beginning of the first few months, especially Barry. Unlike Nathaniel who was quiet and only cried when he needed something, Barry was different as every single minute that he is left alone he will crying but things changed when Nathaniel started comforting him in secret whenever they were alone until they grew up.
Now it's been ten years and you could see Nathaniel in his class packing his things so they can go while Barry was talking to a girl in the hallway.
Nathaniel came out of the class when was done packing and saw Barry talking to a black-haired girl in the hallway.
'Huh! Who is that girl?'
He thought to himself before heading towards them but when got closer to them both of them did not notice his presence because they were so engrossed in their conversation.
"Ahem!"
Nathaniel coughed lightly so that they could notice his presence and they did.
"Oh, Nathaniel you are here. I- I was waiting for you."
Barry said nervously after he turned around to face Nathaniel.
"I could see that. So, are you gonna introduce me to your new friend?"
"Ah! Iris, this is my twin brother Nathaniel. Nathaniel this is Iris West, she helped me earlier so we became friends."
Barry quickly introduced the girl as Iris West but Nathaniel raised an eyebrow when Barry said the reason why they became friends and started checking Barry up with a narrowed gaze because the only reason that Barry will need help while in the was with bullies and he was right when he spotted a few scratches on his arms.
"Thank you, Iris, for helping and it's nice to me you."
Nathaniel's gaze return to normal and he expressed his gratitude towards Iris for helping Barry.
"It's nice to meet you too, Nathaniel. Barry had said a lot about you."
Iris nodded to Nathaniel before telling him that Barry has been talking about him.
"Really? What did he say about me?"
Hearing this Nathaniel wanted to hear what kind of things Barry said about him asked Iris but he was interrupted by Barry.
"Do you wanna come with us, Iris?"
Barry knowing that he will be embarrassed if Iris tell Nathaniel that he was praising him earlier decided to cut the conversation short and asked Iris if she wanted to go home with them which she nodded her head in response and the three of them left the school together.
On their way home the three of them got to know each other more and were able to deepen their friendship to a new level.
"You like her don't you?"
Nathaniel asked Barry when they separated from Iris.
"What?! What are you talking about, Nathaniel."
Barry screamed out in shock but his face was red from embarrassment which proves that Nathaniel was right about what he said.
"I could tell from the way you look at her and your reaction to what I said also proves me right."
Nathaniel explained how he was able to find out Barry's feelings for Iris and he meant it because as a lady's man in his previous life he was able to tell if someone had feelings for someone especially if he was that person.
"Yes, you are right I like her."
Barry finally accepted the fact that he can't hide his feelings from his brother and came clean about his feelings for Iris.
"Then you should find a way to make her yours before it's too late."
Nathaniel spoke again but this time he didn't sound like a ten years old boy but rather a man who has countless experiences with ladies. Barry stopped walking when he heard his brother's tone with a confused look on his face because he could not understand why his brother said that and after thinking about it for a few seconds he ultimately threw that thought to the back of his head and run to catch up with Nathaniel who was ahead of him and they both went home.

[Time-skip]
March 18, 2000.
It's been a year and a few months since Barry and Nathaniel became friends with Iris and their parents also became friends when they met each other.
Currently, you could see Nathaniel coming out of their school with his bag in his hand while a couple of meters ahead of him Barry could also be seen surrounded by bullies.
"Hold him right and don't let him go no matter what happened okay."
The leader of the bullies who is Tony Woodward one of Barry's long-time bullies instructed his lackeys to hold Barry tightly and never let him go before he started beating him up.
"Aagh!"
Barry cried out in pain but Tony didn't stop and even started taunting him.
"What! Are you crying, Allen? Are you gonna call your mommy to come and save you? What a loser you are."
Tony continued taunting and beating Barry while the other bullies laughed.
Nathaniel who got to where Barry was supposed to wait for him saw the scene and got angry, he threw his bag away and run towards where Barry was getting beaten up. The bullies who saw Nathaniel left Barry and ran away leaving Tony alone.
"Hey! Where do you think you are going? I told you to hold him."
Tony shouted at the bullies but none of them responded to him and just run away. Seeing how his lackeys run away made Tony think that something was wrong so he turned around only to get punched in the face by Nathaniel.
BAM!
KICK!!
Tony fell to the ground but Nate didn't stop there and started kicking Tony until he was satisfied then he took hold of Barry's hands and went for his bag before running away home.
