"Andrew Lane?" His jaw ticking, Ethan asked. "You seem close to him."

"What do you expect? It's a press station and we are in the entertainment department, we have to stay on good terms with everyone," Shikera said, slumping on the sofa which was directly opposite Ethan. Subconsciously, she noticed they never really sat close to, but always opposite each other unless they were in a car where they had no choice.

As if Ethan noticed at the same time, he stood up from the couch he was sitting and went to sit behind her, albeit keeping a distance between them.

"Does maintaining good terms require you to have dinner with him? And alone at that," he insisted.

Shikera turned to look at him, her eyebrows raised as she said,"We weren't alone. But...why do I feel like we have talked more in the past four days than we have done since we got married?"
