章 202: Gunshots.

Shikera eyes stayed fix on the children, after throwing their mothers into a web of confusion by misleading them into thinking that her husband was a chef. Well, she was not lying since Ethan really cooked for both her and Esther. He was their personal chef.

When the waiter approached, Shikera excused herself from the table knowing that she could not eat anything from their menu anyways. So she pretended to join the children at their table and probably check out what Esther was doing.

She rose from the chair and after mumbling excuses, she walked towards Esther's table when a loud bang sounded behind her. She fell to her knees immediately, her heart beating erratically in her chest. What was that?!

Screams erupted in all corners of the restaurant and that was when Shikera heard the sound of someone slumping behind her. Still on her knees, she turned slowly to see the waiter lying on the floor and pool of blood starting to form behind his head.
