章 9: Chapter 9: First Task

The ability to keep calm in battles is very important.
( If you're asking how he gained this ability, you can also gain a ability if you have an affinity for it or if you just triggered something with very close ties to that ability. In Hawthorne's case, his mental age is much much higher than the average human therefore manifesting this ability. )
The attendant was just standing there with his mouth open.
What's with those insane stats?
Everyone who was laughing at him gulped.
Even with just one finger, he could blow them away.
Was he the child of a noble and a strong one too?
"May I pick a task now?" Asked Hawthorne in an annoyed tone.
"O-Oh yes, go on ahead." The attendant stuttered while talking.
He walked over to the task board and started identifying all the tasks.
Thinking long and hard, he decided to pick the task that required him to scout out a dungeon.
This dungeon was notorious for it's many traps and the gigantic maze that seemed to completely envelop the entire dungeon.
