The car traveled in silence, for hours.

The distance from Laute Manor to the academy was four hours, even with this car, which could reach pretty high speeds.

But where we were going was not the main manor but a fake one, a trap.

So, aside from four hours, we traveled for almost five hours, even though we were going in the wrong direction, as a diversion.

And in those five hours, A-18 got all the information she could from me. Everything Aiden said, what his plan probably was... everything as far as I knew.

And the conclusion she came up with was simple.

"He's overconfident."

And I also thought that was the case.

Because of his achievements, he thought he was... stronger than he actually was, or that the world was weaker than it actually was.

He acted like he was the main character of this world, stupidly.

I thought he'd come to his senses after his girlfriend died, but it only got worse.
