章 87: Blood Bound (1)

The man who was standing next to the rostrum with his upper body leaning against it, could only heave out a frustrated sigh as he saw Aden leaving from the corner of his eye. The boy had just flashed his phone's screen in his direction before pressing it against his ear, telling him through his actions that it was an urgent call which he had to pick.

The only reason behind his return was Amara' outburst. It was Squeaky who told him how she had ended up losing control of herself. It was fine if it was in a confined space, but she was out in the open where anyone could have caught her in the act. 

Aden being hurt was something which was fine by him since it was an accident, but Amara using her powers out in the open was something he wasn't okay with. He of all people knew better about hunters. If she was to be seen by one of them during the act, it would have done her no good. Especially if it was a demon hunter who saw her.
