章 15: RIDDLE SOLVED
As soon as she heard the word "Time" the girl stopped in her track and lowered her head slightly. She then let out a blood curdling scream that caused Rhys to flinch.
Rhys watched the girl run toward him,with his mouth agape as her screams echoed throughout the room,and her body shook as she continued to growl angrily and run at him.
He did nothing as her body got closer to him,but instead held up his hand in front of him defensively.
"I won...Your Majesty."
The girl didn't mind his words and continued to "ape" around and throw herself into a state of frenzy.
Her clothes had fallen on the floor and she was exposing the flesh of her naked upper body to him.
[THE SENSES ARE NOT GIVING HER AWAKENINGS, BUT SHE WILL FEEL ANGER EVENTUALLY.] Alvin informed Rhys.
Rhys kept staring ahead of him,at nothing. His face showed absolutely no expression whatsoever. He was calm.
He was so damn calm.
He couldn't care less about his surroundings anymore.
All of a sudden,he felt the girl's hot moist tongue slide over his cheek. At that same moment, he was startled by her loud voice.
"No. I can't accept this defeat! You...you...you Cheated, you ant!" The girl screamed .
Suddenly, a loud thud was heard and she fell on the ground after tripping over her own clothes. Her head hit the ground hard as she stared blankly at the ceiling.
Rhys smiled lightly and approached the girl. As he approached her she lifted her head slowly and stared at Rhys with wide eyes.
"Don't you dare touch me,you Filthy Creature!"
"Look" Rhys said with a straight face "I don't care whoever you are. I respected you,respect yourself and the infernal deal you striked with me. I won your riddle now pay up".
"...What if she doesn't?" Rhys asked internally to his Mind companion.
[We'll raise Hell!] came the Cold voice of Alvin.
"What's hell?"
[Arr...this is not the time for questions Kid. Straighten up and focus]
"Okay "
Rhys sighed as he turned back to the girl and crouched down to face her,making sure she was looking at him intently this time.
"Listen" Rhys began "I calmly. "You can call me whatever else you want. You may even call me "Filthy Creature" if you want. But don't call me a cheater,you are the cheater here"
His face remained completely straight,his eyes were filled with determination and he spoke with the same indifferent tone.
"Give me my Reward!" Rhys shouted.
"What's so special about that worthless thing anyway?" the girl questioned with a mocking tone.
"That's none of your business Miss"
"Oh really? And I suppose you'll be telling me to call you "Filthy Creature" again once I've returned what I owe you?" she scoffed.
She got up from the ground, dusted her naked body and opened a drawer in the room.
After rummaging through it for awhile,she came across a small golden object and placed it inside an empty black box.
"Now tell me kid what's so special about this stupid thing that you're willing to fight and risk your lives for it. I thought you humans are all weak and cowardly."
"That depends...on the situation. And aren't you human? Why do you speak of yourself as a higher being" Rhys asked puzzling.
The girl glared daggers at Rhys while clenching her fist,which was still holding the object in the black box.
Rhys smirked mischievously before saying "Alright Alright, run me the reward and I'll be off"
The girl threw the black box on the floor.
"Pick it up dog!" She screamed at Rhys.
[ How I wish I had just a quarter of my powers! This b*the needs to die. ] Alvin cursed furiously.
"We got no option, I have to be a dog for this time" Rhys replied mentally.
[ Get strong soon. I can't stand these disgusting attitude of these lowly beings. Would have turned them into smithereens if only I had just a little fraction of my power. Just a little]
"Pick it up . What are you waiting for Dog" The girl mocked.
Rhys quietly bent down and picked the black box up.
"Thanks"
"No need to Thank me Dog.Hahaha . Funny Filthy Creature "
[We kill her first when we become strong. First target]
"I was just about to say that " Rhys replied.
[Now let's get going].
"Okay Miss. I want to go now"
"Obedient Dog. Let me call my servant now..Hahaha "
She rang a bell and the young boy who had escorted Rhys in quickly appeared.
"Take him away,take the dog away". The girl ordered.
The Young boy noded as he looked down not daring to take a look at her Naked body lest the unthinkable happens to him.
Rhys took a last warning glance at the Strange girl as he left the room.
"I'll be back for you very soon" he said to himself.
Once outside, the young boy ran along beside Rhys silently. Once they reached the exit of the , he walked a little further and stopped to watch for a while,then called out to Rhys.
"Erhmmm...May I...know what er... happened.."
"Nothing happened. I want to take my leave " Rhys cut him off coldly.
He opened the exit and dashed outside the Inn.
"I'm going to that store kepper, get my reward and call it a day. I'm dog tired." Rhys grunted telepathically.
[Yeah.]
