"How Kate turned out didn't happen because she was spoiled. I was spoiled and look how I turned out," Edgar said, spreading his arms out for him to see all of his perfection.
Alessandra folded her lips. She would rather not tell him otherwise, especially today of all days when she wanted to keep him happy. Someone who threw salt in the eyes of the man caring for him did not turn out that well. She loved Edgar with all her heart, but there were things about him that she questioned.
"You were supposed to compliment me there. As I was saying, your sister was just crazy, and we know that now. Aren't you going to wait for me to get up?" Edgar questioned, watching Alessandra walk backwards while smiling at him. She stood up and did not offer a hand for him to get up or at least wait by his side.
"Are you out of shape, Edgar Collins? That can't be," Alessandra teased. "You are losing your touch."
