"See? Everything finally calmed down. So, where were we again?"
"Until... about me being Luffy's and Lord Max's servant?"
"Oh, right up there. Then, what next? You decided to work with them without asking for any wages?"
Edna recalled her initial decision to live on an island. It failed miserably because her master asked her to continue becoming his loyal servant. Edna, who felt she owed a lot to Lord Max, immediately agreed to the man's offer.
The interrogation lasted for several hours. Eleazer apologized for having to make Edna wait until might because while she was explaining what happened, Eleazer had to provide a report as well.
Edna couldn't go immediately because she had to wait for a parliamentary decision. It would decide whether she could be allowed to enter Northendell or not.
Edna and Luffy stayed in Eleazer's room. And for the next few days, they still hadn't received any news about the parliament accepting Edna's permit application to enter Northendell.
