(A/N: Don't know why, but I didn't expect myself to make this kind of chapter, at least not too soon and on this novel, well who cares anyway. Also I'm not that good with fight scenes so yeah... Enjoy it.)
Athar, my first intelligent undead, kneeled in front of me and offered me something that I didn't even know existed or could exist.
"My lord, could I ask for one thing?"
Looking at Orochimaru then at him, I raised an eyebrow.
"What would you request from me? "
"I want to use the human that we just captured to create a Necrotect for you, my lord."
"What's a Necrotect?"
"Necrotects were the artisans of ancient Nehekhara - not common laborers, but architects of extraordinary skills whose ambitions far outpaced what could be achieved in a mortal lifespan. In death, Necrotects have lost none of their frenetic drives. They are filled with a compulsive need to pull down the inferior, vulgar cities of their enemies and supplant them with vast monuments of their own design. In life, Necrotects were stern taskmasters who oversaw tens of thousands of Nehekharans as they toiled under the blazing sun. Under their gaze, an army of masons carved huge slabs of rock out of cliff faces before vast columns of slaves dragged the stones across the desert and hauled them into position. All Necrotects were foul-tempered, and they would dispense summary punishment at the slightest provocation, hating anything and anyone that threatened their art. In death, much of their work lies broken or damaged by the greed of tomb robbers and invading armies. Necrotects have been driven to a blinding rage by the wanton desecration of their beloved masterpieces, and they have sworn to have revenge. In battle, Necrotects lead the Tomb King's regiments like the work gangs of old. They exude the same aura of hatred they possessed in life, and their mere presence instills a magical state of fury in the undead warriors of Nehekhara. They also are the best when you a new construct. They will build one and use the soul of a mighty warrior to handle the construct and destroy the enemy in your name, not to mention the fact that Necrotects were also inventors creating new constructs and design for them to be even stronger and serve you even better."
"I see, turn him into a loyal Necrotect, and don't be shy about how painful it will be for him."
"Hahaha, don't worry, my lord. The process will be painful as he isn't a Nehekaran that serves you, my lord."
Now I don't really know who someone can become a Necrotect or even if they need to get something done to themselves and I guess that other than learning under a Necrotect as a discipline they don't need to be "transformed" into one, but as I said I don't know for sure.
Watching Orochimaru yelling and screaming as he was burned alive was quite the sight. From a wanted criminal to a dummy that was being fried. One by one, the mummies retracted their swords from the burned body of Orochimaru, making him scream weakly every single time a sword was removed.
By the time the last sword was retracted from his body, Orochimaru could barely be even called alive.
His once paled skin was now burned and his eyes were barely even containing any light in them, but I know that this wasn't even the last procedure, and just I thought, Athar walked towards Orochimaru and ripping a piece of his linen cloth. When that piece of barely more than thirty centimeters touch the burned skin of the snake-man, the man screamed once again as if he was brought back to life just to suffer, but this time the screams weren't produced by the physical pain, on the contrary, Athar took his soul and I quote "cleanse the impure soul with the holiest fire of Nehekhara ". While that may sound like one of the most important steps, I can say for sure that he did that just to torture the snake sannin for his sins or just because he liked torturing my enemies, in both cases, I didn't stop him from continuing that painful cleansing …
When he was done torturing the poor sannin, Athar brought the piece of lien cloth close to the sannin and as soon as the cloth touched his skin it starts absorbing the chakra in the air to grow bigger and bigger till it covered the whole body of the once know snake-sannin.
Looking at the shell of what was once a mastermind and a feared criminal, I didn't felt anything for what my mummies did to him, but I've got to attribute that to the [Gamer's Mind] perk which keeps me from going crazy from all of the killing and fights that I led my undead legion into.
Athar looked at me while still having the soul of Orochimaru in his hand. He was waiting for my command to put the soul back into the new body. I nodded at him and as soon he put the soul inside the body, the Necrotect's eyes opened.
To be honest, I was ready to fight in case Athar didn't manage to wipe the soul of its memories that made him Orochimaru and leaving his ideas and theories intact. The Necrotect looked at me and then he did a surprising thing: he summoned a whip out of nowhere and then he kneeled with one knee.
"My lord, I ask for your forgiveness. I planned to use the queens and I deserve death for that."
Well, I think I like this version of Orochimaru better than the snakofil version.
"You have been punished already, Necrotect. Before we leave, tell me where is Kabuto?"
"I send him back to Konoha, my lord, but I didn't expect him to be a spy for you."
That's good, I don't want to see Nono crying because her step-son was killed by Orochimaru.
"I see. Stand up and follow me. We have a war to win."
Making a shadow clone, I gently picked Karin while the clone picked Hinata from the ground. Thankfully for me, my new addition, Orochimaru, the Necrotect could be unsummoned which was handy to say at least.
Walking out of the laboratory, the first thing that I saw was a massive snake corpse while my Anubis bodyguards were proudly defending the corpse.
Seeing the enormous body, I could only smile while thinking about how Orochimaru will turn the corpse into a construct to serve me. Unsummoning the Anubis legion, I quickly put the snake body in my inventory and continue running out of the hideout.
When we arrived back at the Allied shinobi forces HQ, Madara was fighting the kages. Let me correct myself, Madara was beating the crap out of all of the Kages while the shinobis were fighting white Zetsus.
Time to show them who's the real boss then.
I made another clone and had him carry Karin while I start walking towards Madara and the five Kages, Jiraiya, Naruto, and Sasuke.
Madara was the first one to notice my presence, but he didn't attack me first.
I continue to walk until I was twenty meters away from them.
"Arise!"
Hearing my summoning, my undead appeared behind and as soon as they were fully summoned, Athar and Orochimaru walked right beside me while the archers target Madara.
"My lord, how should we proceed?"
"You and Orochimaru will lead the legions against the White Zetsu, while I will take care of Madara."
Both of them nodded and walked away followed by the whole undead legion and the Anubis legion.
I turned my gaze towards Madara and without letting him make a single move, I switch position with one of my ghosts that were around him.
The stories about him weren't myths, the man was clearly a warrior and even using an attack as such didn't surprise him even one bit. Just as I was about to slash him with my Naginata, his war fan blocked my attack and even send it back to me. Thankfully I got stronger or that would have been the end for me.
Getting back into my stance, I used one of my tomb kings' spells on me to empower myself. Who said that I need to fight honorably against a fucking monster like Madara?
We continue to trade blows and soon both of our bodies were covered in superficial wounds.
The kages and the protagonist duo were looking at us as if we were monsters, but who cares about them when you could die if you don't focus for a moment.
After a while, Madara managed to get a good hit on my left side breaking a few ribs in me and that attack took nearly a quarter of my health, but thankfully my regeneration was insane and after five minutes I was at full health once again.
Seeing that I need to end this fight as soon as possible, I decided to improvise an attack that may or may not kill Madara for good. Gathering all of my mana in my left hand, I attacked Madara.
He easily parried my Naginata and even managed to dodge my mana punch, but unfortunately for him, both of my attacks were just bites, and just as he was about to parry my Naginata again, I put it in my inventory and summon it in my left hand while on the right hand I did the same trick with all of my mana. By the time we realized what happened, I already made a huge hole in his body. Unfortunately, Madara managed to cut my left arm and leg with his last attack.
Both of us fall on the ground and while I will be fine after a while, he will most likely die.
Coughing a lot of blood, Madara tried to get up, only for his injured body to fail him.
"Kid…you were one of the people I enjoy fighting against …and as a reward…I wa…nt you to have my …apon. M..e…me..oud…"
Barely managing to say his last words, Madara collapsed on the ground dead for good this time.
Turning my head a little to the left, I could vaguely see the outlines of all of the people that fought Madara before I arrived, unfortunately for me, I slowly start losing consciousness.
(A/N: Quick explanation: The MC will be able to grow parts of his body as long as his HP didn't hit zero, so by the time he will wake up, he will as good as new.)
Creation is hard, cheer me up!
