章 22: Dazed

"Ugh... why do I feel like I've been hit by a truck..." I groaned, my hand instinctively reaching for my throbbing head as I kept my eyes tightly shut. What happened?

My body felt like it had been through a battlefield, each muscle protesting with every move. Was I dead?

Slowly, I forced my eyes open, squinting against the harsh light filtering into the room. As my vision adjusted, I took in the exquisite surroundings. The bedroom was larger than the little bedroom I was in at the Stark house. Its walls were pale blue, and delicate white flowers with red buds were sketched on the walls. I would have thought it was tacky but the furniture and rugs complimented it so well. Now the question was, how had I found myself in such an exquisite room? 

The opulence of the furnishings contrasts sharply with the haze of my memories.
