章 201: Chapter 130: One year and a half ago
"Love!" Lance shouted.
"Almost done!" Aiden shouted back.
"Come on we will be late! I don't want to clean up the after party if I'm late." Lance said again.
"Who even thought that bet?" Aiden asked. "Don't worry I'll help you with the clean up." Aiden kissed Lance before the two went inside Lance car.
"It was of course Lee." Lance sighed.
"Will Dexter be ok attending the gender reveal party of those two?" Aiden worriedly asked.
"Lee said that Dexter has been meaning to come to the party, of course he too was worried." Lance glanced at his wife and saw the sadness to his eyes. What happened a year and a half ago is still fresh in their minds. They all can still vividly feel the pain and suffering it caused them. They loss lives that are important and part of them and if Lance is being honest he still thinks everyone is still in the moving on phase.
"Losing a child is never easy, I know how it feels specially to someone like us who can't get pregnant right away but what happened to Dexter didn't just left a scar, it traumatized him. When I saw that my baby was dead it almost made me lose my mind." Aiden said.
"It was an accident, Dexter protected Lee out of instinct." Lance explained.
"Which what made it harder for both of them." Aiden answered back. "Dexter has been blaming himself for more than a year now and Lee is blaming himself for being weak and the reason why they lost the baby. Both things are hard to handle and accept and I am blaming myself for making that decision."
"There's nothing really you can do, you are all surrounded that time and Dexter was shot and was captured."
"But still I know I'm partly responsible for what happened." Aiden said his voice is filled with regret.
"What about the others? Like Jules?"
"Yeah, Jules has been making himself busy too that I'm surprised to know that he too will be attending the party." Lance added.
"Yeah even Dr. Henry." Aiden said which made them sad after mentioning the two.
"I have been in their shoes so I do understand, I too drowned myself with work just to get by each day without you." Lange suddenly said.
"It must have been hard." Aiden said.
"It's like you're alive but dead inside." Lance took Aiden's hand and kiss it. "I'm glad you came back to me. You ended my miserable life."
Aiden looked at his husband lovingly, after witnessing those two guys mourn for the lost of their wives that broke everyone's heart who witnessed it, Aiden made a promise to himself that no matter what he won't let anything bad happen to him. He doesn't want Lance to be in that same situation again. Although he's secretly wishing for those two to find love again so that they can finally move on and be free of the past.
"So how are the sweetest couple here?" Zeejay teased.
"So are we the last one to come?" Lance immediately asked.
"Nope, Lee and Dexter is not here yet." Terrence answered.
"Do think are they ok?" Theo asked his husband.
"They're just at the phase of their marriage, after they pass that I'm sure the relationship between those two will be much stronger." Taekyun answered but everyone knew better and all of them are sad for the two. They used to the the role model family. They are the embodiment of a family that won't crumble.
"So how are you two?" Terrence asked he tried to change the topic, he gave Lance a hug before greeting Aiden
"We're fine, so how's Fourth?" Lance asked, both Chester and Terrence finally got a girl baby.
"She's good and very lively the boys are loving her." Terrence said.
"Hey you guys!" Chester came in to greet.
"Dang you're big!" Lance exclaimed.
"Hey Kitten you are not big." Terrence quickly covered Chester's ears.
Chester just laughed at his husbands gesture. "It's ok, I'm really big because I'm nearing my due date." Chester smiled.
"Yeah your husband is too workaholic that he even works hard in doing you, for you to get pregnant 4 months after you just gave birth." Aiden hit Lance to have him stopped talking.
"You're just envious, I'm having another twin remember?" Terrence reminded Lance.
"Yeah, I can only guess what you sons names will be." Lance sigh.
"Obviously our friend here already is the winner. He will be fathering 7 children soon. Hey Chester, why don't you cut your husband's dick already? It already has proven its capacity, impregnating you many times. Dang it's like he just sleeps with you and then bam! A baby is made! While me I have to try all sorts of things just to make Nick pregnant! I even went as far as having my semen check and take all those vitamins." Zeejay said
"Hey don't be too hard on yourself." Zeejay looked at the man who put his arms on his shoulders.
"Clarence! So how's the honeymoon trip?" Zeejay teased, Rion's face instantly painted with red color.
"You two finally got married, after all this time." Derrek who just came said.
"Yeah we need to finish the case, Rion begged me to it. I have to hold back till then." Clarence explained.
"He's still asleep, so we really can't send him to
Jail." Clarence said.
"It was really a shocking event, his mother migrated and all their business closed down." Derrek added.
"At least Raven is in jail now, Chester won't need to worry." Rion said.
"And you too." Terrence told Rion. "So who's looking after your son?" Terrence added.
"Dad, he really loves River." Rion answered.
"Hey, why don't you go and greet Nick over there?" Clarence kissed Rion's head before he suggest it to his wife. Rion smiled at him sweetly before he went to find the host of the party, Aiden joined Rion in finding them.
"So what are we going to do with Victor and Raven?" Clarence immediately asked as soon as he lost sight of his wife.
"I never thought you'd be the kind of man to hold grudges." Lance commented.
"I'm not really, but it involves my wife so I'm concern about it." Clarence said.
"Yeah, as much as I want to kill those bastards but our wives wanted the law to take justice and not us." Terrence explained.
"Your wedding is the hottest topic in the country don't you know that?" Lance commented.
"He just married the whistleblower and had a child with him. Everyone will be very surprised." Everyone agreed.
"Enough with me." Clarence looked around and when he didn't find what he was looking for he looked at them to ask. "Where's Lee and Dexter?" Derrek's face became sad all of a suddend.
"Lee just texted earlier, he said he and Dexter wouldn't be able to come." Derrek explained.
"Was it still about that incident?" Clarence asked.
"Yes, it seems Dexter is having a sever postpartum depression. He couldn't accept it, he's blaming himself and at the same time blaming Lee." Terrence said. "I know how painful it is, because of Thirdy but the only difference is that we still have Thirdy even though he's still sleeping soundly but Dexter lose the baby and he witnessed how he lost the baby. I'll probably lose my mind too if that happens to me, not that I'm giving birth though."
"It has been one year and a half and yet it still hunts us." Adrian who just arrived said.
"Adrian!" The boys shouted and they all hug Adrian.
"Is Nash with you?" Zeejay looked around to find Nash.
"Nah, he didn't come with me. He said he doesn't want to."
"So he still hasn't warmed up to you?" Terrence asked and Adrian could only shake his head no.
"Adrian do you think, that it's time to stop now? You took Dylan's place when he died and even went as far as marrying him and be the father of his son. That child is not even yours." Lance explained.
"It's ok, as long as Nash is with me." Adrian said with a smile but they know deep inside the man is hurting.
"Adrian, it's ok to just help and support him. There's no need for you to get married to him."
"I want to and it was Dylan's last wish. It is also the only reason why Nash is married to me." Adrian said sadly.
"If only you had listened to me and Lee then that child of his would've probably yours. You also end up turning your back from your family and competing the Business of your family." Terrence said.
"I'm already pass the regretting stage. I just want to look forward in finding ways on how Nash can love me again."
"So how's your cousin?" Adrian asked
"Jules just dropped by to give his gift and send his regards." Terrence answered.
"No, I mean how is he." Adrian asked again, insinuating what he really mean.
"Ow, he's getting worse than before. He's sleeping around a lot. He's always drunk and he's on indefinite leave, his job thought it's the best thing for him to do. I don't know what to think anymore. At this point we just let him be, at least he stopped trying to kill him self."
"Is it really that bad?" Adrian asked.
"Yeah, but Henry is copping up really well though. I asked for his opinion as someone who was left behind but he just told me, that he only does things that he thinks will make Jeffrey happy."
"Speaking of Henry he also just dropped by." Zeejay said.
"I thought those two will stay longer?" Lance said.
"Nope, Henry said he has an emergency back in the Hospital so he needs to come home and Jules said he's about to meet a girl." Zeejay explained.
"So that means we are not complete again." Lance commented.

"Where's Dexter?! Where's my husband?!" Lee shouted at the top of his lungs, both of them should be at the party and yet here he is looking for his husband who just suddenly disappeared like he had forgotten about the event they both promised to attend.
After the incident that happened a year and a half ago, Dexter throw his phone and other stuff that has tracking device in it, he also refused to bring any bodyguards to guard him. His heart grew cold to the point he stopped sleeping with Lee. It has been a year and a half that both of them shared each other's body heat. Dexter's sweet words, loving and caring heart for him has turn ice stone. His own husband despises him. Lee endured and never forced Dexter in hopes that his husband will be able to forgive him, will be able to find in his heart to love him again. He was in that state when Dexter came inside the receiving room, drunk and swaying.
"Dexy, are you ok?" Lee hold Dexte to both of his shoulders, helping him to stand up properly.
But a punch landed on Lee's face send him down on the ground. "Don't touch me with that filthy hands of yours!" But after Dexter told him off the alpha pass out, Lee quickly catch him.
He led his husband back to their room. He prepared a small basin filled with warm water to wipe Dexter's body. Upon opening Dexter's shirt he found kiss marks and lipstick stains on Dexter's clothes and body. Lee bit his lips and with a trembling hands he wipe it clean although the kiss marks stayed he continued to wipe him clean and put him in a pair of clean clothes. Lee went to the balcony and light up a cigarette. He stopped smoking a long time ago but with things happening between him and Dexter he badly needed a stick. Lee knew that Dexter went back to his casanova life, he has been sleeping with women and omega males but he choose to turn a blind eye. He knew that it was just a phase. He never told this to anyone, he doesn't want anyone to think badly of Dexter because his friends knew how protective Dexter is to him which with everything that's happening right now makes it seem like it was just a joke. Dexter most of the time unconsciously hurts him
Physically like what happened earlier. It was like Dexter is a different person.
Lee sit at the floor with his face on the bed, just watching Dexter peacefully sleeping. "I'll choose you everyday, even though I'm hurting right now." Lee whispered, he didn't know when he fell asleep but Lee woke up with something hard hit his face with force.
Lee hold his mouth and nose that are both bleeding because of the impact. "What the fuck are you doing?!" Dexter shouted. "I told you that I never wanted to see your face inside my room! Now get out!" Dexter pointed his finger to the door of his room.
Lee just quietly stand up and left his room.
Minutes after Lee went outside his brother came in. "What are you doing in here?" Dexter asked.
"He didn't mean for what happened in the past, can't you just forgive him?" His brother asked.
"He's the reason why I lost my child! If he only listened to me then I wouldn't have lost my baby. Do you know how painful it is to lose your child? Do you know how painful to it to see how he died slowly? How he struggled to breath in the air in those tiny lungs, he's a healthy baby and yet and yet they butchered my baby. You don't know that every air he tried to take with his tiny mouth is like a knife cutting my heart piece by piece." Dexter asked with a trembling voice but there are no tears left to cry. "My husband left me and my child to THAT PLACE TO DIE!!!" Dexter shouted
"Dext, then would have you prepared if it was Lee who died?" His brother's words caught Dexter of guard but his anger is stronger so he said something that he didn't know he will regret someday.
"It would have been better if he is dead." Dexter said loud and clear.
"Be careful what you wish for my little brother, your words might hunt you down after. You are hurting him, don't you know that? No let me rephrase that… You. Are. Killing.him…. You are killing your own husband Dexter, if time comes and fate will take him away from you don't go crying to me…. Because I know how painful it is when your regret comes biting at you. I lost my wife Dexter and it was the biggest regret of my life…. Right now you are taking the same
Path as I did, sleeping around and taking her for granted."

"What happened to your face?" Lee looked at his brother, he's a little bit embarrassed to be seen like that.
"I just tripped, that's all. So how's the party? So what's the gender?" Lee excitedly asked.
"It's a girl, did he do that to you?" Taekyun seriously asked his little brother.
"I'm fine." Lee simply answered.
"I don't want to pry but your other bruises because of his punches and kick haven't healed yet and now you have found a new place to display them? Dang you're literally can be labeled as a battered husband."
"I think you beating your wipe karma is after me." Lee joked around.
"Hey, I know what I did to my wife and it's not ok. I was clouded with anger and when those anger lifted I fully regret it, to the point I just want to hurt myself as much as I hurt him.
It was not ok Lee, Dexter will be hurt if he realizes this. Why don't you two sit down and talk about it?" Taekyun suggested which made Lee's tears fall down one by one.
Lee is a happy kid but seeing him pour out all the bottled feelings he has made Taekyun cry too with his brother. "I didn't mean to, I swear I was just worried… I swear they took Jules and it so happen I was there, I didn't mean to get caught too, if only I was as strong as Dexter."
"It's ok, it's ok." Taekyun said, trying hard not to let his voice break. "If you no longer can take it and if there is no one you can talk to with then write it down on a paper, that way it won't be bottled up inside."
Lee went home late, he knew that Dexter won't be home, the guards told him that Dexter went out again, he just checked Lexter and went out again when the time of him going home is almost there. Dexter has grew cold towards their son too, probably Dexter still couldn't handle the sight of any babies, he was deeply traumatized by what happened to their youngest. He looked at the time and sighed. He's tired but he still needs to wait for Dexter. He's sure that the later is drunk again. While he's changing his clothes he caught glimpse of his jotter pad. Lee took the pen and start writing down. Since then he keeps on writing and writing whenever he can no longer handle the pain. It was like his own personal diary of the things he wish, he regret,
the pain he's feeling so as his love for Dexter and their child. It became a hobby, a companion to Lee for the past weeks. It soothes the pain and somehow gives him happiness and hope.
He was still writing when the door of his room was roughly opened, he looked at his husband's angry eyes. "I can't go to Aiden's son's birthday party, I have somewhere to be." Lee's had a sad expression when he heard it but he quickly smiled at Dexter, he knew Dexter will be out of town with someone.
"How long will you he gone?" Lee asked
"None of your business." Dexter brush it off like it was nothing.
"I'll be going on a business trip—-"
"I don't care, I don't care even if you don't come back, I think it will be much better if you just get lost and don't ever comeback!!!" Dexter walk out of Lee's room.
Lee had a sad smile to his face, he was trying to smile but his tears betrayed him. Dexter went on to that trip and in 3 days he never came back and another 4 days passed before he decided to comeback but when he did the house was in chaos, his mother, father and brother in law are all in his house.
"What's going on?" But he was answered with a slapped from his mother in law who loves him dearly.
"I hope you are happy now." Rebecca went out of the house followed by her husband. He looked at Taekyun who just stand there watching.
"What's happening?" Dexter asked.
"You didn't know? Really? Where you with your flings and sex mates again?" Taekyun asked.
Dexter is not liking how things are going, the tension is getting thicker in any seconds that is passing by. "Tell me! I don't like playing games with you!"
"Lee's plane crash. They are still looking for any survivors. It's hard finding the people missing and retrieving the bodies because the plane crushed on the sea." Dexter felt like a bucket of ice water was poured on to him.
"Lee were they able to find him?" Dexter fearfully asked.
"No, it has been five days since the crash." Dexter felt like his feet became like a jell-o.
"They got all the survivors and Lee was not among them, we are just trying to find the body." Taekyun continued.
"You're lying right?" Dexter asked. He walked towards him and pulled Taekyun by his collar. "You are doing this to get even with all the things I do to your brother."
"I wish that's the case but it was not. Mom and Dad are fixing the will that my brother left, the attorney will come here to formally read his will." Dexter's legs gave out he slowly sit down on the floor. He thought he can no longer feel any pain but he's wrong, all the pain he had gone numb to came back like it was just yesterday.

Jules blew the smoke out from his mouth when a soft fingers took the cigarette from his mouth and tried to kiss him but Jules turn his face to avoid the kiss. "What's running to your mind?" Said the lady who's naked by his side.
"Nothing." Jules simply answered.
"Hey why don't you want to make us official or anyone for that matter." The lady asked.
"I'm married." Jules hates it whenever someone tries to pry to his life, so he got up and put his clothes on.
"So you're cheating on him?" The lady asked.
"I'm not, he's dead. And I would never cheat on him if he's alive." Jules blew another thick smoke, he got up and took his boxer to put it on on him. "But he doesn't play fair and went a head to die by himself." Jules took his pants and put it on. "I have to go." Jules didn't wait for the woman to say something, left right away.
Jules drives back to the that little apartment he once called home. "With the lifestyle that you have, you'll die early." Jules almost jumped after hearing a familiar voice. That person became his new best friend aside from his two best friends. Amongst his friends he is the only one who can fully understand what he feels.
"Come on, you know it doesn't really matter to
Me. Hey let's get inside." Jules invited Henry inside
"Don't start with your nagging." Jules warned Henry.
"Come on, you know that Jeffrey wouldn't like it if he sees you." Henry hit Jules to his shoulder as he said it."
"If he doesn't like it then why he's not here to stop me from completely destroying my life." Jules jokingly said.
"You know there are things in life that we can't control." Henry sighed. "I sometimes wonder that maybe I'm finally getting the karma for playing too hard and destroying too many marriages that I should have fixed. If I didn't play dirty maybe I wouldn't get that kind of karma." Henry laughed. "And even though how funny as it sounds, I'm trying to do what's right thinking that maybe by some miracle, the good karma will reward me for it, and also I know doing things as this will make him happy."
"What's the point in doing good if Axel won't be coming back?" Jules light up a stick of cigarette.
"It can put your mind at ease, for some reason it can take the pain away." Jules looked at Henry who's smiling but his eyes says otherwise.
"You, didn't mark him so why are you not sleeping with anyone else? How were you able to hold it up for more than a year?" Henry just laughed at Jules question.
"If I had known that I'll lose him, then I would have marked him." Henry said in regret.
"He's your soul mate, if you marked him it's either you'll die due to shock or you won't be able to find another partner." Jules said as a matter of fact.
"Yeah, I have no plan in sleeping with anyone nor to get married again. I'll just spend my life helping others. Jeffrey wanted that, he said helping others gives him peace, it's like all the bad things he did are being paid by the good things he does and can do more for others." Henry explained.
Jules blew the smoke and put out the fire from his cigarette. "I don't know if I still have the heart to help, I can't even help my wife and unborn child. Sleeping around helps me forget."
"People have different ways of coping up, but as much as possible channel all that negativity in something that can make you productive." Jules light up another stick.
"I don't know, for now I'm trying to live my life without him. I made a promise to my parents and Axel's siblings."

Adrian woke up with Nash beside him. For almost a year that he and Nash have been married Adrian was already thankful that he sleeps in the same bed as Nash. To him it was more than enough that the omega agreed to that except when Nash is in his heat. Nash's hear has been a constant reminder of what he has done. The scent that solely should be for him was no longer for him alone. He has too work from home when Nash's heat comes, he fears that some alpha might attack Nash or that Nash might lose himself to the pheromones of another alpha. It is always a nightmare for Adrian when his wife's heat comes, he's always on guard, afraid that he might see Nash with other alpha all because he can't control it. Adrian was awaken from his reverie when he noticed Nash's movements indicating that the later is starting to wake up.
"You're still here?" That's the first thing that Nash asked him.
"Your heat is coming Babe so I'll be working from home this week." Adrian said with a smile.
Nash got out of bed like he didn't hear anything. He fixed his side of the bed and turn around to get to the shower room. "I told you not to call me Babe, this marriage is just for formality. I'm just fulfilling Dylan's last wish. You don't need to worry about me and my son too much."
"Ash is already my son…."
"Don't treat him as one. I don't want him to get attached to you only to be left broken when you leave and replaced us with someone new." Adrian's heart was crashed with Nash's heavy words.
"I learned my lessons, I won't let you go ever." Adrian whispered.
"You also promised me with a lot of things before but you broke those promises."
"I'm trying to make it up for all of it."
"It's too late now Adrian, nothing that you ever did can fix things right again."
