Chapter 50: I know exactly we are going to do

Chloe's P.O.V
I opened my eyes as soon a A light hit me. The sound of keys was in the door again, I guess that it already has been morning since Leo is visiting us again. Probably feeding us again so that we wouldn't starve.
I looked down and saw the others waking up at the sound, my eyes Landed on Bluve who grumbled and dropped his eyelids to go back to sleeping when the door suddenly shot open in unusual manner revealing a familiar silhouette.
Her wavy hair was measuring now in her waist. She had a thin figure but we couldn't quite see her face until she quickly rushed in my place unlocking the chains that was holding me when I finally got a clear view of her face.
".....Sky?" I blurted as she looked down meeting my eyes and when my hands finally were free, she didn't hesitate to hug me tightly with made me flinch.
Her body was trembling while it was still stiff collapsing her weight into mines. And here I could finally hear her quiet sobs. I realized that I only saw her as a mere rival this whole entire time and not as a friend that would also feel wary and unspecial like everyone else.
I patted her back lightly to soothe her as she began saying words between her sobs.
"I—I'm so, so sorry." She repeatedly mumbled under her breath.
I stopped at this, what was she sorry for? When Sky realized that I have stopped tapping her back, she looked at me with sadness and apology. Her violet eyes was puffy but the tears was still evident of her eyes.
"F-for not being in good terms with you...and for leaving you guys like this .." she said in an almost whisper-like tone.
My heart began ripping out in pieces as she apologized for my rudeness. I shook my head and began tearing up.
"No Sky, you aren't at fault. I should be the one apologizing here." I mumbled.
She then pulled away like she couldn't believe what I said but was startled when we heard someone cough like a warn-like manner.
Our eyes drifted at the sound and saw the others looking at Sky, With relief, care, and hope.
"Ah! Right! Nag drama ako!" She suddenly flushed at her embarrassment as she awkwardly let out a chuckle which made the whole room lively.
Sky stood up as she called out a name.
"Meadow!!" She screamed and she proceeded to release Hakun and Sergio.
Napatayo na ako nang may nakitang hinihingal na nakatayo sa may pinto, bigla namang nag tama ang mga mata namin at dumiretso siya para yakapin ako.
Napatawa naman ako sa ginawa niya.
"You are all fine, right?" She asked kaya napatango naman ako.
Binigyan niya ako ng isang matamis na ngiti bago kumilas sa yakap at tumungo na para mapa-labas na yung mga iba.
Ibinaling ko ang direksyon sa labas ng pintuan at nang makita ko ang nasa labas neto ay bigla akong napatigil.
It looks like an Frickin Hospital hallway that sprawled out from a movie. Yung tipong horror ang Genre, kinilabutan naman ako bago bumalik sa loob at linapitan ang hindi na naka gapos na Chummy at tinulungan ko siya mapatayo.
"Salamat." Ani neto habang tinitignan namin ang mga iba, hindi naman naging isang segundo nung nagtama ang mga mata namin ni Emerald.
He was shocked but it wasn't more of a scared one—probably just starled but he gave me an 'I'm okay' smile which made me sad.
I know about betrayals—nangyari na iyon sa akin. Sa hindi ko inaasahang Animalia—Carter.
Napangiti ako sa ma-asin na memorya at nang napakawalan na kaming lahat ay hindi nag-isang segundo nang biglang nagsi-yakap ang dalawa.
Yes, what I meant is. Chummy and Alpha was hugging like their lives depended on it. I chuckled at the sight as Sky and Meadow walked towards me.
Everyone's eyes followed as they both smiled—it was a smile that was making sure that I'm supposed to agree to whatever they are going to say or request or—
"It's all up to you now, Captain." Napatawa si Sky while saluting.
I was surprised at the sudden request but when my eyes lingered in their backs, I saw Chippy smiling at me—A proud smile which made me a little more prouder than I could ever be.
Hindi nagtagal na tumango ako. Which made them squeal in joy.
Napatawa naman ako sa reaksyon nilang dalawa at yinaya na kaming lumabas dito.
While walking the two was leading the way out.
"What did you guys do to Leo? Why isn't he scurrying after us?" Emerald asked while we are on the way.
The hallways was dark, all the lights was off and I could see many doors—Oh Emperia forsake this! What is this place?! Some sort of Asylum or something?!
"I talked to him. He isn't kinda in the mood?" Meadow answered in more of like a question manner which also confused us.
"Pero paano? That's—"
"He probably felt remorse or something, I mean Something was off about him when I talked to him," She then paused for a moment.
"I don't think he'll get on out way anymore."She replied like it was nothing which made Emerald zip his mouth.
The sound of light tapping our feet in every step making echoes in the empty hallway gave me goosebumps. We are all quiet, it wasn't awkward for me but I doubt that for them.
And what feels like like almost half an hour happened and we are still walking. But surely I calculated the time wrong cause I feel that we haven't been walking long enough to reach 10 mins.
I looked at the others and my gaze landed on Chippy who was looking for somewhere in front of me which confused me.
"I missed you guys..." Alpha's voice cracked up as the two looked at him grinning.
"You do?" Sky almost laughed.
"Really? I doubt that." Meadow also jokingly teased.
Alpha's face reddened at the sudden response as his forehead was beading with sweat and kept gazing at Chummy who didn't help him and laughed at his current state.
"Uh—Of course not! I didn't miss you guys! I'm actually checking to see if W-we aren't lost..!" His panicked voice made me crack up as the others joined.
"Don't mind him, He acts arrogant when telling truths." Chummy explained which earned a slight 'hmph' from Alpha.
I smiled to see that their usual radiance and energy was back as Chummy began poking him at his sides multiple times and he couldn't stop turning his frown upside down.
"So, paano niyo alam kung nasaan kami? Or where we are or whatever?" Arcane asked clearly not in favor with the two new peculiars he hadn't spent time with yet, I'm not really sure.
"We were also kidnapped. By Leo—The prom." Sky said.
There was an eerie silence after that but thanks Chippy for lightening up the mood!
"So um, you guys kinda looked different—or new!" Chippy chirped which made Sky gave him a thumbs up and seems to be touched at his compliment.
Meadow on the otherhand smiled at him and shot her attention back towards the hallway that they are walking in, picking up directions.
Napa-iling nalang ako at tinugon ang atensyon ko sa harapan at napansin kong tumabi sa akin si Chippy.
"Don't you think that Meadow is off?" He whispered.
Napa-taas kilay naman ako sa sinabi niya at tinignan nang maigi si Meadow sa harapan namin.
"I don't know..?" I replied back as he shot me a 'isn't it obvious' look which seemed to confuse me furthermore.
"I mean look at her..! She isn't aggressive anymore! I liked her shouting or hitting me." He looked so disappointed.
"Tell me more."
Inilagay niya ang hintuturo niya sa kanyang pisngi habang bapapa-isip pa siya ng masasabi.
"I often found it cute or it makes me feel good when she's hitting my back when I tease her." He thought while thinking of more words to say.
I narrowed my eyes as I stared at him intently. He probably noticed it cause he flinched when our eyes met again.
"W-what?"
"Chippy, my child?" I whispered.
He looked at me weirdly.
"W-what? Why are you giving me that serious expression?" He asked intrigued.
"Are you perhaps a...masochist?" I asked, picking my words carefully. His eyes widened at my question and took a step back and his face becoming red as a tomato.
"W-what? N-no!" He almost scream like which the others seemed to notice.
Then carefully he ran past Sky and Meadow leading us all while running till the end of the hallway. Looking embarrassed.
Napatawa naman ako sa inakto niya and I couldn't help but tear up, suddenly tumabi sa akin si Arcane.
"He's a masochist, alright?" He whispered which almost made me laugh but at the same time my eyes widened at his statement.
He looked at me with an understanding face as he awkwardly reached the nape of his nape and looked down on the floor.
"I couldn't help eavesdropping, I mean your topic was interesting." He admitted which made Me shook my head.
"Ugh—my arms are sore. Hushy complained which made my attention turn to him."
"Same." I responded.
He nodded and curiously looked at me.
"So—Chloe, after all this. What are we going to do? How are we supposed to save the world? Emperia?" He questioned which made everyone listen to what I'm about to say.
I shifted while feeling uncomfortable with some of the gazes and silence. It was like putting a pressure on me and whatever I would say would make them automatically listen and follow.
"I—I don't know. Hindi pa nga natin nahahanap si Phoebe, ni hindi nga natin alam kung nasaan siya.." I reasoned
The guys looked like they also just realized it and finally agreeing, but what if we spend time looking for Phoebe and after we find her—everything is over?
"Actually," Sky started. And all eyes seems to fall into her. "We know where she is." She said which peeked our interest, my heart was pounding with ease when I heard what she said.
"Really?" Hakun shot up. Napansin ko na mas siya yung lumigaya kaysa sa amin. Napatawa naman ako sa reaksyon niya.
"She was held captive by Stella." Sky continued. My eyes narrowed as I looked confused and made my eyes way to Bluve which shot me up a confused look as well.
"Queen Stella, is actually—" Sky hesitated for a second which made us way more curious.
"Actually what?" Alpha asked, obviously looked impatient.
"—Phoebe's mother." Sky felt that her Mouth would dry out any moment.
The others froze, their ears couldn't believe it. My face fell faster than a corpse in cement boots.
"Wait—What?" Hakun asked just to ensure that what he was hearing was actually correct.
"Y-you can't be serious..." Alpha looked at Sky he was also recovering from his state of shock.
Sky's head dropped and didn't say anything. But instead keeping lead in the way.
"No way..." Hakun muttered.
"Is she safe then..?!" He added which made Sky stop in her tracks.
Oh no.
In that instant my skin became greyed, my mouth hung with lips slightly parted and my eyes were as wide as they could stretch.
Is she safe?
"L-Let's just say, she needed us." She stammered as she began playing her hair.
"But don't worry, I believe she's still on our side." She assured while quickly waving both her hands and clasping them together soon after.
Well at least Phoebe didn't sided with them, that's a relief.
It was soon after we finally was on the end of the hallway and there we saw Chippy standing there, I feel like I owe him an apology but Guess I'd love to tease him a bit more.
The end had stairs that gies up away.
"We'll head there." Sky gave notice as we all nodded.
The stairs was steep but slippery. I actually wondered how the heck did Leo carry us all?
I shook my head at the question as we slowly cane emerging to a familiar house—And. Leo's house.
"So, where are we going after this?" I asked.
"The best solution is to pass by Cambridge and proceed to Orioch." Sky said as she looked at me for approval which made me nod.
Think of it, what the heck are we supposed to do there? I looked down.
Napansin din naman ata ito ni Sky.
"Don't worry, Chloe. And guys—I'll explain it to you later." She assured as we finally made our way to the front door, but before we head out. Meadow stopped by a certain room and said something.
We didn't mind it much and proceeded out of the door. Ah—I it was chilly, and the ground was wet? Was it raining.
It didn't seem a second when Meadow caught up with them and Sky was leading them.
We walked as the mossy grass touch my foot.
Ah that was cold, I then looked at the others who seemed relieved upon seeing outside.
It wasn't long when I felt something looking at me. Hmm, maybe I was a little paranoid. I was probably over thinking.
"Let's go down, let's talk to the caravan once we get in there." Sky looked down on the rocky mountains.
Yes, let's talk about that after—going down in this pile of rocks.
