"Cara!" That voice followed me out the club, into the dark night, while I hurried my way out the noisy area.
The silence that hit the surroundings had that voice pouring out louder into my ears.
"Cara!" He had come standing right in front of me, eyes holding mine.
"What did you think you were doing in there, Logan?" I snapped at once, gaze intent on him.
"He was disrespecting you, Cara"
"And who are you to have a say on whatever happens to me" I followed.
"It seemed like you needed every help when I stepped in" His voice was low. "I couldn't just stand there watching him touch you here and there" His voice was low.
"That man wasn't gonna leave without having you with him"
"You don't own me, Logan!" I cried out, voice blaring into the environs, I swear even from a mile away, it could be heard, especially seeing how late it was.
His eyes gaped on at me, form pulling closer, but I only pushed my hands forward, halting him in his tracks.
"Cara—His eyes were crossed with confusion, hands reaching to caress my face, but I had pulled back at once, taking a step away from him.
"I'm not some thing you possess Logan" My voice was faint this time, eyes watching the baffled ones away "Don't you try to butt-in into every of my affair" I followed right before turning around, moving away from him, proceeding into the dark streets.
Meanwhile, I could feel that gaze lingering on my form, while I proceeded further into the murk.
