Q&A/Lore Dump
Hey Everyone! Daydul here, I decided to make this to answer a few questions I saw pop up here and there on this fic. I also had a few questions of my own for all of you.
First and foremost, Mark. I will be keeping that name for their male form, and Val will be used for the female form. Last Name is still pending since I am still workshopping it.
Secondly, The magic system that Val created is basically them using an advanced, custom programming language, and using said language to copy and add any powersystems they encounter or see. I realize that that barely explains anything, but more details about it will prop up in further chapters overtime if the earlier chapters didn't explain it already.
Third, (Spoiler but not really since it was eluded.) The biblical god in this au did in fact copy the concept of growth items, but ended up with sacred gears. However, in their spiral to make a sacred gear that worked like a growth item, this caused then to make the balance breaker system, instead of it being a bug like in the original.
The implications of said thing will cause changes, whether good or bad, that is to be seen in the future.
Fourth, (ALSO A SPOILER) A Lot more than the biblical God has been 'copying' the golem goddess. Who and in what capacity will be shown in the future as well.
Now my questions for everyone here. I have been thinking on what to draw people to want to support me in my writing and am unsure of the best way to go about that.
I could offer additional chapters earlier than release again on patreon, but via discord access. I prefer kofi since they don't take out anything, but it is what it is with that. I do still have that goal I want to reach, but I have been scratching my head in though on how to go about it.
I want to be able to offer something, rather than just asking for help without anything in return. So If I need to do early chapters, longer chapters (like 5-9k words in length instead of the normal 3-4k), more interludes, what have you, let me know. I genuinely would like a second opinion on this, since it really wouldn't be any additional effort, regardless, I would just spend a bit more time writing.
The way I write is a bit weird to say the least. Like, I have the beginning and ending fully fleshed our, with key moments that I want to happen pop in my head, but it's the in-between or middle that is ever changing. Of course I would never spoil any key moments, so don't bother asking since I won't tell, what I said above was just the tip of the iceberg.
I believe in honesty and tranceparency, so I genuinely would like some guidance on this. Outside of that, is there a particular character that happens to be your favorite? And why? I'm curious to see the outside opinion of my characters.
