章 29: A Day Off With The Fam
Someone at The Collective clearly had a great time messing with the characters in this universe. Case and point the fact that Lucifer and a few other devils were their Helltaker variants. Also the fact that The Great War is actually just caused by bad parenting. I know I said it before, but still. The level of petty and lack of responsibility of the biblical factions is crazy. It also pisses me off because they are causing needless slaughter with zero care in the world.
My divinity being partially unsealed though has made things a lot easier for me to get a handle on my emotions. That, and I now had the responsibility of watching over those within my churches. None of which are corrupted in any way funny enough. Still though, my children have been taking care of those that represent my churches apparently.
"So when are you going to take care of that abomination of chaos?" Red was hanging off my shoulders while Ophis, Jane, Jess, and I were spending some time watching Naruto on the couch in my room.
"As soon as I get a much better understanding of the sealing arts of the Uzumaki. The things that they could do with it is straight up bullshit, and that is coming from me. Just the seals used to contain the tailed beast is crazy enough, if I can use something similar, and combine it with a few other things, I might be able to make some better use out of Trihexa then just sealing it." We were watching the moment Madara makes the big meteoric reveal.
"If that is the case, then could we turn Trihexa into a growth item? Or maybe even a sacred gear? Although I am partial to growth items since we can just remove the personality and keep the source of power, whereas sacred gears require the soul to have some type of personality, even if it is muted. The possibilities are endless." Jane leaned her head against my lap while she spoke.
"We could also perpetually rickroll the embodiment of chaos. They may not understand what that is, but it would be funny if we put them in an infinite loop of it. Or we could have them play video games within the seal, that might mellow them out." Jess started cooking up more ideas as she leaned onto my right shoulder.
"Perhaps I can show them the wonders of sweets? Or maybe one of your children would be interested in giving Trihexa the ride of their life? While it doesn't have a particular farm, I'm sure it could be convinced to one or another with the right amount of convincing." Ophis was voicing out some dangerous ideas from her seat on a pillow in-between my feet.
This entire situation would probably cause anyone outside of my faction to have an aneurysm. The creator of the golem race, two legendary crafters, the dragon goddess of infinity, and the dragon goddess of dreams, all on a couch together, watching Naruto, and contemplating the demise of Trihexa. When I first started in this world, this was not something I expected to happen, at all. It is well beyond any expectation I had.
Then again, because Ophis and Red decided to come here of their own volition, it would give me a chance to study them, and maybe make some golems with their powers in the future. I discovered an interesting fact. I can't have kids, at least not conventionally. I can only create them, but I can always implement DNA from those I want to have kids with. I did a blood test on all of my current children due to my curiosity a while ago, and it turns out that they have DNA from me, Jane, and Jess. I don't know how, but that's just how it is.
"You think Kinami could use the power of a tailed beast if she tried? At least the Nine-tails? She is known as the Kitsune of chaos, among other things. I heard that she is going to meet the Shinto soon. It would be funny if she dropped a tailed beast bomb on some of them." Of all those gathered here, Ophis was the one to ask that. Clearly she has been watching us for a while.
"It wouldn't surprise me, although I would be more curious if she pulled out a domain expansion. Or maybe a technique from dragon ball since yokai do use life force as their main form of magic." Jess started talking about more possibilities with everyone else.
"While I'm certain that the shinto will suffer for what they have done, I wonder how Sebby is taking being a king in the making? The fae have been doing wonderful in the way they have quickly integrated themselves in our society. I even heard that a good amount of them joined up with the adventurer's guild, and started exploring the dimension with many different golems." Jess seems to have been keeping tabs on the guild that the angels under Circi run.
It seems that our anime watch time tends to delve into talking about the kids. This may be the first time Ophis and Red have joined us for it, but they seem to mesh well with Jess and Jane. If the past few nights we all had together were any indication. If it weren't for the fact that I had access to the tantric arts, I am certain that I would have to go at it with them all for much longer. Although maybe it would be interesting to make a time dilation field within the room whenever we decide to have a spicy night. Especially since the two dragons are insatiable.
Madara do be decimating the different ninjas of the villages across the ninja world. While we continued to discuss the kids, I heard an interesting prayer. I had them filtered out so I would only hear things that would either interest me, or were of vast importance.
Golem Goddess, I pray to you in hopes for a blessing. I would like to save the poor souls that are being displaced by the devils and the fallen.
The warrior that was praying to me probably wanted to become some type of paladin or holy mage and gather many humans that lost their homes to protect them under my banner. I admired the man's pure good will. His soul had no taint, and he had a damn near unbreakable will. I might as well help out the humans a bit. Yahweh may have made sacred gears early due to me, but it didn't help the humans at large at this period of time, it only made them more susceptible to being corralled into the various factions.

Perhaps I will have my own Merlin in the future. Or Solomon? Who knows? The guy's name was Solomon Daedulus, so perhaps he will spread my religion far and wide among the human population.
"It's always surprising to see such a pure human. They are the ones that tend to become heroes of legend, so perhaps the one you blessed will have a much greater impact then what we expect." Red somehow noticed Solomon when I blessed him, I wonder how? Not that it really matters in the grand scheme of things.
The episode of Naruto ended, and I paused it from going to the next one for now.
"Votes on what you all want to do next? This is a day off for us to spend time together." The girls all looked towards me as they thought about my question.
"We could play some modded Baldur's Gate. It wouldn't be much of an issue to start a new session with the 5 of us on the multiplayer mod." Jane brought up the first suggestion.
"I'm always down for more Baldur's Gate. It is a fun game to play. We could also play it in virtual reality, that might be more interesting, and provide us a first hand experience with it." Jess brought an alternative that would be just as enjoyable.
"I think we could do with a meal or two first. I have worked up quite an appetite from our time watching Naruto." Red pushed her breasts closer to the back of my head while she spoke up. I played with Jane's hair while we continued to discuss our next step. Before I could speak up though, there was a knock at the door.
"Goddess Val, we have prepared a meal for everyone. Would you like to eat it within the living room, or your personal room?" One of the golem maids came at the right time since the rest of us were starting to get hungry.
"I think we should have it here. It should save us time as well." After that confirmation, the golem maid wheeled in a full course meal that might as well have been taken straight from Olive Garden. A large amount of breadsticks, chicken parmesan, shrimp alfredo, some salad, and a large lemon cake. I damn near salivated at the food as it was brought to a table in the room for us to sit at. If the slurps that I heard from those around me were any sign, I was not alone.
"If I didn't already give you my body, I would do so right here and now just from the food you are regularly served." Ophis spewed out her inner thoughts, and Red nodded along with her in agreement. The five of us sat at the table and started eating our meal.
"So, what do you think about the situation with your grandchild? I didn't expect Death of all beings to get a crush, let alone Kuro. Those two seem to be hitting it off quite well so far." Red was munching on her shrimp alfredo while she brought that up.
"I don't know what to think about it honestly. I figured that I would just let nature take its course. If Kuro has no issues with her, then I will permit it. He is mature enough to handle things himself. Although I'm sure Circi will be keeping a close eye on their budding relationship regardless. Death in this particular universe is different from others, but similar to her variant within the Marvel universe. I shall withhold my judgment unless she gives me a reason otherwise." Red nodded at my answer, then busied herself with her food. I told Red and Ophis about the multiverse/omniverse days ago and they took it better than I expected.
"So when do you think Circi is going to get shacked up with someone? Her own son beat her to it, let alone most of her siblings. My bet is another century. She is almost always within her room doing administrative tasks, researching, or playing games whenever her siblings drag her away from the room." Jane wasn't wrong to assume that. Circi isn't a prude, but she is more like modern day Ajuka in the way that she would rather be researching than seeking romantic interest.
"Based on what I have seen of her, and my interactions so far, I doubt she will grow an interest in anyone. Although if I were to make a bet, I'd also say at least a century, and it won't be someone from Draconic Deus." Ophis made an interesting point. I do plan on exploring different worlds and universes within different media in the future. Although I somewhat disagree with that bet.
"I think she is going to have a situation similar to how Levi met Jewel, and my bet is within the next 10 years." Jess seemed hopeful. Since, just because I couldn't have children in the conventional way, it did not mean my kids could not.
"I bet that she won't get with anyone at all, and will be the only of your children that doesn't get into a relationship. She seemed like she might as well be asexual with the way she interacts with some people." It was somewhat saddening that Red drew that type of conclusion, but I couldn't blame her for it.
"How about you Val? When do you think Circi will get into a relationship of some kind?" Jane was the one to bring up the question, and the rest of the girls paused their meals to look towards me.
"Perhaps it will be sooner than we expect it to be. Although I still can't be certain, I'd give it a few years after The Great War. Once she gets a chance to complete her initial mission I gave her, she might be able to find someone, or a few people with her free time. It's not like she doesn't have any interest in these things. I've seen the way she looks at Retzio when he is with Loki, or Sebastian with Viviane. Heck, I'm certain that Kuro's newfound interest in Death has caused something to spark within her if it wasn't there already." The four of them paused to go over what I just said.
"That is true, she is very observant of them when she thinks nobody is looking. Although I do wonder if Malek will find someone before Circi. I'm sure that isn't even a thought in their mind right now, but I think it would be funny if even they got with someone before Circi." Jane brought up an interesting point. I do wonder how she would feel if that happened?
Somewhere in a research lab
"Achoo! That's weird, I shouldn't have the capability to have a sickness or disease. Was someone thinking about me?" Circi was in the midst of going over several reports from the guild, while she was delving further into researching Golem magic. Due to the fact that her mother constantly updates the system, she decided that she needed to keep up to date with any changes that may happen to it, and look over any books that her mother wrote on it.
Back to the cause of the sneeze
The five extremely powerful beings, at least for this universe, ate in a jovial manner, as they continued to speak about Val's children. Several golem maids worked continuously to bring plate after plate of food. If it weren't for the guild regularly getting requests from them for food materials, they wouldn't be able to supply the insane appetite of these five. Ever since Val stopped spending credits on food from Gabe's Emporium under The Collective, they had to source their own food. Not that it was an issue though, since the dimension was expanded, and there was a massive amount of wildlife in the form of normal animals, and monsters that are taken out by adventurers.
Each and every maid was specially trained by maids that were trained by Jane and Jess in how to do housework. The training was rigorous, almost militaristic in nature. The maids didn't just know how to do housework, they were also well versed in hand-to-hand combat, and assassination from Jess and Retzio. They learned magic from Sebastian and Circi, then they learned administrative work from Jane to decrease the workload on paperwork at times like this, where Val has decided to take the day off.
If Val takes the day off, Jane and Jess also take the day off. The three were a package deal in most cases, and now it was a five person package deal with the addition of Ophis and Great Red.
"Please let us know if you need anything else Madam Val. We are always just a message away." One of the golem maids waved off as she exited the room with the dishes from the group's meal.
"Thank you, I'm sure Ophis will want some sweets later, so be sure to prepare plenty for her, and the rest of us to snack on." Val ordered the maid as she headed out.
"As you wish." With that, another maid shut the door behind her, and the group of five was alone once again.
"Retzio and Loki seem to plan to join Thor and Freya on an adventure within the Nine Realms. He just sent a message to ask for your permission. The four of them plan to travel to the land of the frost giants. Odin seems to want to enter peace talks with Ymir." Jane pulled out her tablet to read over the message that Retzio sent out to Val, who shifted into Mark after she finished. Ophis and Red visibly flinched for a second, before they relaxed when he waved in their direction.
"That's fine, but make sure that he takes extra precautions to keep himself and Loki safe. I want the two of them to have items that will teleport them here in case of emergency. I also want items for Thor and Freya as well that will teleport them back to Asgard as a motion of good faith, and to extend a helping hand to Odin." Jane sent a message to Retzio, then Jess was about to head to the forge before Mark stopped her.
"This is still our day off, remember that. Their trip can wait a day or two." Jess gave Mark a quick peck on the lips, then sat back down.
"Of course, the trip isn't set for another four days anyway. Not that it wouldn't hurt to make the items now, it can wait for us to enjoy our time off." Jane stood up, then got the VR gear ready for their Baldur's Gate session.
"I agree with Jane. Plus, I am interested in playing Baldur's Gate for the first time. My experience with these games so far has been Mario party, and Call Of Duty Zombies. So an RPG should be a valuable experience." Ophis was more interested than one would expect. Then again, they were isolated like a hermit for a longtime, so becoming a gamer is only the next step. They already had a budding anime addiction.

Sup Everyone! Oshimura/Daydul here. I've been dark for a bit to take care of some things that propped up. So I have a new timeframe for things, I basically have till the 19th ish to reach about half of my goal on K.o.f.i. However, I have good news! Come tomorrow, my p.a.t.r.e.o.n will be updated to reflect how I shall be doing my fics from now on.
I will be updating my fics on a schedule that will be reflected on my discord. After this shorter chapter here, each chapter afterwards for my fics will be bare minimum 5k+ words, and you will be able to read ahead on my fics based on the release schedule from my p.a.t.r.e.o.n once its updated. This will allow you to read the chapters off of discord since P.a.t.r.e.o.n is being mean about it. I may look into alternatives in the future if anyone has suggestions.
Outside of that, if I manage to reach half my goal on Kofi, I will up the frequency of updates, right now I will stick to one or two updates every other day. Also, I will do a CYOA with reader interaction since I have been delving down that rabbit hole to make builds for that, along with the waifu catalog since I grew some interest in them.
