章 16: Physical Exercises

Neither morning nor evening, I slept until my mind regained its presence and focus. I went out of the cave, looking for the angel, and washed my face in the river. Although the food didn't taste as good as it looked, it was healthy, but I didn't achieve victory or guarantee my survival yet. The angel approached me and said, "Follow me." We left the cave, and he turned to me and said, "First, we'll focus on building up your physical strength until you have a decent stamina. For the next four days, you'll engage in physical activities before we move forward. For alchemical strength." He opened his wing again and pointed at my body, causing my clothes to turn into value sportswear, not just ordinary clothes. He said, "Now, quickly do 30 push-ups in a row. Then stand up and run to the end of the river, where you'll find me." Oh my God, I've never done exercises outside of school gym classes in my life. I struggled to complete 30 push-ups, which took about 15 minutes. Then she ran beside the river, unable to speed up due to exhaustion from push-ups. I arrived and found the angel waiting near the slope of a waterfall. I lay on the floor, gasping for breath and regaining my composure. There was neither a house nor a hut, only sandy mountains. Then the angel appeared behind me, saying, "You are in the desert. I have commanded you to jump so that you may trust me and understand that I desire only what is in your best interest, which is in line with my interest (now I realize that the angel has an interest in teaching me alchemy).
