"You look beautiful," Sophia gushed in awe as she trailed her eyes over her sister. "Alex is going to be blown out of his mind."
Vanessa looked herself over in the mirror. "You think he'd like it?" She skeptically asked, and Sophia hastily bobbed her head.
"Trust me, Alex would love it." She said dramatically as she walked around Vanessa to admire her.
Vanessa sighed as she carefully examined herself. The dress was no doubt beautiful, and Sophia had nicely done her hair, but she wasn't confident enough in her appearance.
She was going on a date with Alex Moore, and she didn't want to embarrass him. She didn't want to look not good enough. As a matter of fact, she was nervous for so many reasons.
Sophia tucked a few curls of her hair behind her ears and tilted her hair band to the middle so it could sit perfectly on her head, before handing over her purse.
My TCB experience.
TCB wasn't an easy book to write especially for 'me', because we had to think of ways to make all the cliches seem not so cliche, but what had us going were the characters.
They were relatable & everytime before we wrote a scene, we'd ask if it were us, how would we react to the situation a character was been subjected to?
Sometimes, we got answers other times we went with the flow, but in all, it was great.
To be continued.
