Arabella's POV

"Do you own this house?" I asked Tyler after he helped me get out of the car that picked us up from the airport. We traveled at least another two hours before we reached our destination, it was already daytime, and I could feel the sun's rays on my skin.

"Yes, I bought this place after you left the island years ago, and this became my fortress," he answered, and I could feel the guilt in his voice.

"Anika and Bianca will be joining us today, and you don't need to worry about anything from now on, Arabella. I will never allow Regina to hurt you." He added as he took my hand.

I couldn't deny I was in awe as I looked at his mansion; it was a magnificent contemporary house like his mansion near the beach, and I couldn't stop feeling envious that he could buy a house like he was only buying a toy.

It was so ironic that I, on the other hand, needed to work harder each day ever since I was a teenager to help my parents and make ends meet.
