"You stay there with Anika and your mom; it is dangerous if you come here, Ara," I said over the phone, and I hated that I couldn't be with them.

"I missed you so much, Ty. I want to see you," she responded, and it broke my heart to listen to her sweet voice like that.

"It has been one month since you didn't come home." She added.

"I know, and I am sorry, Ara, but I promised you after all this, we will be together again; the campaign period is making me busier. Running the company and the campaign is crazy." I declared.

"That is why you needed me more," she insisted, and I shook my head even if she couldn't see me.

"Please, listen to me, Ara. Don't make this more complicated than it is, I beg you. I need you to be safe." I replied, and she fell silent.

"Hey, please don't be angry with me, my love." I softly said.
