CHARACTERIZATION

MORETTI: is a graduate student weighed down by crushing student loan debt. Her desperate financial situation leads her to make the unwise decision to enter into Liam Blackwood's proposed arranged marriage, despite her reservations. Moretti is naive and finds herself in way over her head in Liam's wealthy, powerful world governed by rules and contracts she has little choice but to obey. Though she wants to believe she can survive this temporary arrangement and regain her independence after, Moretti's inner strength and resolve may soon be tested as the threats against her escalate.

LIAM BLACKWOOD : is a billionaire businessman and heir, used to applying his vast resources and influence to always get what he wants. Arrogant and controlling to a fault, Liam almost seems to manipulatively be thinking multiple steps ahead of everyone around him. On the surface, his interest in Moretti is simply as a pawn to secure an important business merger by appearing as his devoted wife.

SELENA WILKINS : is Liam's gorgeous but vicious and unhinged ex-girlfriend, discarded by him but unable to accept being cast aside. Obsessed with violently taking back what she feels is owed to her - the life of luxury at Liam's side - Selena is willing to go to criminal lengths to destroy Moretti, whom she sees as a temporary threat in her way. Her vengeance and unstable persona make Selena an extremely dangerous and unrelenting threat.

DRAKE: is Moretti's deranged ex-boyfriend from her past, unable to accept that she has moved on from him. He is obsessively fixated on the insane idea of winning Moretti back for himself, no matter what it takes. Insanely jealous of Liam for "taking" Moretti away, Drake is an unpredictable capable of reckless, dangerous actions if given the opportunity to get what he wants - which is Moretti.

PLOT

Like they say desperation can lead even the most levelheaded person down a perilous path.

Sophia Moretti was a graduate student drowning in enormous student loan debt. Despite her heavy course load, she could not find a way to make enough money to chip away at her rising financial burden. Her dreams of becoming a research psychologist after graduation seemed further out of reach by the day, instead of finding possible solutions to escape her financial instability, things kept getting worse.

That all changed when Sophia's life took an utterly bizarre turn. she is essentially blackmailed by billionaire Liam Blackwood into agreeing to a temporary marriage contract.

The wealthy billionaire Liam Blackwood barged into her apartment with armed men and an outrageous proposal. Blackwood needed to marry immediately in order to secure a major business merger. He ruthlessly manipulated Sophia's desperation, offering to pay off her debts entirely if she agreed to be his temporary wife for 6-8 months.

Against her better judgement, the prospect of having her loans wiped out proved too tantalizing for Sophia to walk away from. She reluctantly signed Blackwood's extremely restrictive marriage contract, selling her independence and freedoms to become his owned bride.

She moves into Liam's mansion and gets a glimpse of the lavish lifestyle she'll be expected to portray. Despite the new to her new found life , Moretti has no choice but to adapt to her new found life .

Liam's vengeful ex-girlfriend Selena causes drama, publicly accusing Sophia of being a prostitute and taking her man away from her before she got violently thrown out by Liam's bodyguard.

Under pressure from the Selena situation, Liam insists on immediately marrying moretti that same night, in order to avoid drama from selena and other people.

Their wedding is dramatically interrupted by gunfire from an apparent attack. In the chaos, Selena is shot which left moretti in alter shock and them thinking she's dead in the process . Liam rushes moretti to safety in a panic room, reaffirming that no matter what happened, she is now officially his wife trapped in this high-stakes world she signed up for.

Despite being shot during the attack on Liam and Moretti's wedding, Selena somehow manages to survive her injuries without Liam and moretti being aware. Consumed by jealousy and rage, she becomes obsessed with getting vengeance against the woman who "stole" Liam from her.

After recovering, Selena is able to escape from whatever medical facility she was treated at. She begins planning an elaborate scheme to ruin Moretti's life and reclaim her place at Liam's side.

Selena starts by gaining access to Blackwood Manor, using her past connections and intimate knowledge of the estate to avoid detection. She bides her time, studying Moretti's daily routines and movements around the Estate.

When the opportunity finally arises, Selena strikes - ambushing and kidnapping Moretti in a blindsided attack. She spirites the new "Mrs. Blackwood" away to a remote, secure location where no one can find them.

With Moretti now her unwilling captive, Selena torments and berates the younger woman. She remains convinced that manipulating Moretti is the key to severing her ties to Liam and undoing their marriage once and for all.

Selena tried to turn Moretti against Liam by revealing damaging secrets about his past and also lied about Liam being an Assassin to an undercover agent. she tried forcing Moretti to act as a mole, feeding her information to use against Liam. But all her effort proves abortive.

Meanwhile, Liam was out there searching for ways to get hold of his missing wife before Selena's vengeance goes too far. During this period of her absence, he was starting to realize how much he's presence has an effect on him.

While being held captive by the vengeful Selena, Moretti thinks her situation can't possibly get any worse. But her former boyfriend Drake soon proves her wrong.

Drake was an ex from Moretti's past who never got over their breakup. He had become obsessed with winning her back, even after she moved on with her life and academic career. Drake's fixation only grew stronger when he learned Moretti was marrying the wealthy Liam Blackwood.

Somehow, Drake gets tipped off about Selena's kidnapping of Moretti. Seeing this as his chance, the unstable ex inserts himself into the unfolding situation. He tracks down Selena's hideout and confronts the two women.

At first, Drake tries to ally himself with Selena, as they share the common goal of wanting to tear Moretti away from Liam. However, Selena has no interest in sharing her prize. A violent confrontation breaks out between the scheming ex-lovers.

During the chaos, Moretti is able to briefly escape her captors. But her hopes of fleeing to safety are dashed when Drake manages to recapture her alone. He takes Moretti to a new, even more secure location, jealously keeping her all to himself.

Now Moretti faces a terrifying threat - Selena's unhinged obsession with destroying her marriage, and Drake's deranged obsession with making Moretti his again, no matter how twisted the methods.

Liam finally got hold of his wife, and took her back to his home safely, but unfortunately he wasn't able to capture drake.

On the other hand Drake was starting to have issues in his business due to him not being able to concentrate well because of the kidnap of his contract wife. Some of his business partners that were jealous of him and want to see him fall started ganging up against him .

Now Liam has alot to deal with both at the office and outside the office. Moretti decided to help her husband who she is starting to like after him rescuing her. She got to see that behind the strong wall he built around him, there lies a sweet loving man that not everyone could see.

She decided to work at his office and assist him raise it to where not anyone could step in. Moretti made sure those that ganged up against her dear husband was brought down. While was busy dealing with the talk exes.

Drake and Selene made a final attack on drake which brought their downfall. They set up drake against Selene.

Accusing him of raping Selene. This accusation almost broke drake and moretti apart as she moretti found out she was pregnant with set of twins and they were already crazily in love with eachother.

After much back and forth drake was finally vindicated and proven innocent while drake and his accomplice where brought to justice and sent to prison for their crimes.

9months later moretti gave birth to a set of twins, which brought them so much joy and happiness and heir to the Blackwood Company.

Drake decided to right his wrong by terminating the initial contract that was signed and form a new one which carries the original certificate of them being married.

They also had a big celebration with both families being present to witness the celebration of their children.
