The ward boy released his grip on her hands, and Britney's arms fell limply onto the bed, her fingers splayed awkwardly. 

"I need to run some more tests," Anastasia declared, her voice authoritative. "Call the nurse to prepare her." 

The man nodded in compliance before leaving the room to make the necessary preparations.

Anastasia looked at his back as she retrieved another syringe from the pocket of her white coat. With a quick, precise motion, she injected the drug into Britney's vein, her movements silent and deadly. When it was done, she pulled out the syringe and slipped it back into the pocket.

Anastasia left the ward in a hurry. Her footsteps echoed down the corridor as she made her way to her cabin, her sense of urgency palpable in her movements. Her thoughts were a whirlwind of calculations and decisions as she navigated the hospital's hallways.

"Dr. Anastasia…" A nurse rushed over to her. "Someone is…"
