章 158: Misunderstanding

Nick is everything okay..." Becca spoke softly the moment she sat down inside Nicholas's car. 

"What happened? You were fine when we were in Leonardo's room then we stepped out and your countenance suddenly changed towards me. What is the matter?"

In reply, Nicholas briefly glanced in Becca's direction... 

'Did she just ask me what happened like she didn't know what she did?' He wondered to himself in disbelief before looking away from her. 

He was surprised and happy to see her when she first walked into Leonardo's room. When she told him that she came to thank Leonardo personally for something he did for her, he became curious, wondering to himself what Leonardo did that was so great she needed to come to thank him personally.

When Amani asked her about the query she got from work, he in turn asked himself in disbelief...
