章 134: A whore

Nicholas's heart skipped in his chest and he felt a tiny rush of excitement the moment his phone started ringing. Why?... Because he thought it was Becca calling to tell him she has arrived home and he couldn't wait to be with her himself. 

He was ready to tell Leonardo and Amani that he would soon be leaving as he reached inside his pocket to bring out his phone. He checked the caller ID and was disappointed when he saw it was his partner calling him and not Becca.

"Hey. I left not quite long ago. What's up? You know I already have a plan for tonight, please don't ruin it for me" He jokingly pleaded with Shane 

Shane couldn't help but laugh

"I wasn't about to man, relax. But you're not going to like what I'm about to tell you... I'm back at the station and I have something of yours here. No, let me rephrase, I have someone that belongs to you here. A patrol officer just arrest your girlfriend and someone is suing her for assault"
