Declan's POV

There was a knock on the door.

"Come in."

It was Lily. She was carrying a tray of food.

"Hey, I brought you food so you wouldn't starve."

"Thanks sis, I appreciate it."

"This work that has you forgetting to eat must be really important." she noted as she set the tray down in front of me.

"You have no idea; if I can be through with this, the company will skyrocket up."

"That's interesting. I am rooting for you, big bro."

"Thanks, Lily; by the way, what are you doing at home? Shouldn't you be at work?"

"I have a free day today."

"make sure you rest."

"i will, see you later when I bring you another meal." she gave me a little wave and left the room.

Some minutes later, she came back.

"Isn't it too early for another meal?" I asked jokingly.

"Your assistant is here and she says, there is an emergency. Should I let her in?"

"Yes, bring her here," I instructed Lily.
