章 927: Sober

Yang Ming brought back a tipsy Yao Ran to their room. He didn't rush. After all, this wasn't his style at all. Slow and steady. That was his game.

He slowly placed Yao Ran on the bed, seeing her curl up right on the mattress. His lips twitched.

"I'll take a shower first."

Yao Ran lay on the soft comfortable bed. While she appeared intoxicated, her mind was clear. Her gaze was trained on the doorway. She had the chance to leave. She did. However, she didn't want to. The cold wind was far too tempting to decline.

When Yang Ming came from the bathroom and saw that the young woman was still on the bed, his eyes gleamed in satisfaction. He didn't want to force her to do anything she didn't want to, after all.

As he slipped an arm around her waist, he lifted her toward the bathroom.

"Since you've made up your mind," he whispered, and she shivered. "Why don't we take a shower together?"
