Beginnings of an Ending
Elvana Greenleaf, the daughter of Thranduil, and the half-sister of Legolas. That's all I would have been known as. Until, my brother decided to roam Middle Earth, with those curse`d Hobbits. Now, I'm known as the soon-to-be Queen of the Northern Mirkwood. My father, who is becoming old, for an Elf, is handing me the kingdom.
My mother is jealous, of course. My father may have publicly announced me as his daughter, but he kept her hidden. What the public, and my father, do not know, is that she is planning on marrying my father's brother, who is the King of the Elven kingdom of Leaflen. If she did that, I would not be Queen, but she would be. My father would have no choice but to give her the Northern Mirkwood.
My mother has always made me angry, but this is pushing it. Why does she crave to be Queen so much? She has not long to live. My uncle doesn't even love her, but he is going along with the plan. What is his take in this scheming? I hardly know him, though. Certainly not enough to have any feelings for him.
