章 12: Chapter 12: Time to Wake Up

Anubis came walking out, looking like an exhausted walking crime scene. He used a towel to wipe the blood from his face as he removed his mask. Takeshi and Rocco were somewhat relieved to see the medic had some semblance of a smile on his face.

"She wasn't anywhere near ready to say goodbye." Anubis remarked, looking to be nothing short of impressed. "Even with all that blood loss, she was hanging on with everything she had."

Both men did nothing to hide their elation. They hugged each other again and even had tears springing to their eyes.

"Can we see her?" Rocco asked quickly.
