Angelo stayed in the shadows and watched the girls chat. It wasn't that he wished to eavesdrop on them. Far from it. However, to get what he wanted, this was his best way of doing things.

He had given Meyra a clue about what he knew. This was meant to serve as a test for her. Regardless of how much his little sister trusted her, Angelo found women deceptive.

Aside from his mother and sister, he preferred keeping away from the gender. Once again, it wasn't that he didn't get tempted by them.

He was not a cold-blooded monster. Even animals lust after each other. Yet, for him, it felt almost negligible. His father had spoken to him about his relationship with his mother.

No matter how many times he hears it, it was never boring. If only he could find a woman like his mother, maybe, just maybe, he would think beyond his physical needs.
