Sarell might have been soothed by the sight of Prince Reqiel willingly taking a rest after lunch but he was too strung out by the fact that he had to confront Andras.

He marched resolutely to the bodyguard's quarters, if there was no safe way to get rid of him, they would just have to try to coexist.

"Come in," Andras' voice came from within just as Sarell lifted a hand to knock. He sucked in a deep breath and pushed open the door, his dark green robes swishing.

Andras was seated on a chair that had been moved to the window which he had previously been staring out of. He looked expectantly at the jumpy Angel, curious about what he had to say this time.

"I wanted to thank you for protecting His Highness," Sarell said stiffly, looking at everything but Andras' steady gaze.

Andras propped an elbow on the window sill, humor glinting in his dark eyes, that was unexpected.
