章 27: You Can't Defeat Me

Ashur felt a sense of dread wash over him. What was he going to do?

In a swift motion, Damocles lunged towards Ashur, intending to grab the amulet right off his neck.

While Ashur was much less powerful than old Master Damocles, he had the advantage in terms of youth.

As soon as he sensed that Damocles was about to attack him, he nimbly sidestepped the attack, causing the old man to stumble forward.

“You bastard.” Damocles cursed.

Before Damocles could attack him further, Ashur immediately used a wind barrier to create a shield between the two of them.

Simultaneously, Damocles sent a stream of black mist towards Ashur.

In the nick of time, the wind barrier managed to deflect the black mist from reaching Ashur.

But Damocles didn’t stop shooting out black mist, and Ashur could feel that the wind barrier was slowly weakening.

The black mist swirled in the air and obstructed the vision between Ashur and Damocles. Neither one of them could see the other clearly.
